I stayed at Jean-Pierre’s apartment for a month and absolutely loved it! It is clean, safe, welcoming, and in a great area. Having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher was very convenient, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The bed is a true king size and extremely comfortable (not too hard, not too soft, just right!), and the bedroom is quiet with big windows making it easy to cool the room if it got warm. There are plenty of fans too and adjustable heat if you're traveling in warmer months. The location in the 11th is perfect. It feels more local and less crowded than Le Marais, but you are just a short walk away from Le Marais, and the metro (Saint-Ambroise or Richard-Lenoir stops) gets you anywhere quickly. The elevator is charming, though I often took the stairs, which helped work off all the pain au chocolat! I stayed for a month and would absolutely rent from Jean Pierre again. He is responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The weekly cleaning was also a huge bonus and extremely thorough. My favorite things about the apartment were the natural light, the comfortable couch and bed, the walk-in closet, the great shower, and the view out the front windows. I spent hours people watching. I already miss both Paris and this apartment. A few local tips: Marché Bastille (every Thu/Sun), La Boulangerie Polka, excellent coffee downstairs at Del Carmen, and dinner at Au Passage right down the street. Merci Jean Pierre!

This is an outstanding apartment in Paris, the host was incredibly receptive and helpful and made the apartment a breeze to enjoy. The apartment itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated, with huge windows looking out to the boulevard below. The bedroom was very dark at night, very comfortable bed and the best shower ever in the huge bathroom Very nice kitchen, we shopped and cooked a couple of evenings. The host has also provided a computer to use which was convenient for looking up events, restaurants etc. the hotel is close to several metro stops, boulangeries, great restaurants, and the Sunday Bastille market a block away is a gem for all kinds of things. All in all an incredible find in Paris!

What a perfect place to stay in Paris. Our host was very communicative, assuring that the check-in process was smooth and simple. The apartment was spacious, well furnished and bright. This Paris rental unit is exactly as the picture indicates. The host is an excellent communicator and stayed in touch through out our visit. I was initially concerned about the location as we have never been to Paris before. The location is GREAT! Easy access to walking to nice restaurants and not too far to walk to several museums. The host had excellent recommendations on site in a book marked especially for guests. The master bedroom of the unit included a comfortable king size bed, and the bedroom itself was as large as our first hotel room that we had once arriving to Paris. (We stayed the first night in a hotel.) We were able to cook a few meals within the kitchen. The shower is modern with plenty of water pressure to take a hot shower after a long day of touring. We will return to this Vrbo rental on our next trip to Paris. All Five-Star!

This was a lovely well-appointed apt with spacious rooms, great natural light and gorgeous windows to the treetops. Appreciated the 1100 feet after many small hotels. Kitchen functioned well. King bed with lovely linens. Owner extremely responsive to every text. Even mailed back my iPad that I forgot! Will definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best place we ever rented. It was spacious beautiful decorated, a very comfortable bed and great shower. The location could not have been any better. We walked almost everywhere. The grocery store Monoprix was just around the corner and the recommended bakery ( a must) just down the street. We also enjoyed the recommended Italian restaurant just 5 minutes away. A real plus was the washer and dryer We have been traveling in Germany and were very happy to do a load. We got so spoiled with Jean-Pierre's flat that we will have a difficult time finding anything as comfortable. We will be back!@@

Living Local in the 11th

Awesome apartment in a great neighbourhood in the 11th arrondissement. Listing is exactly as described and per the photos, and was even better in person. Tonnes of space, great window overlook on the active street, easy access including elevator that handled our large-size luggage (1 person at a time), short walk to several Metro stations/cafes/restaurants/grocery stores, and all the needed amenities (fridge/freezer, fans, iron, hair-dryer, dishware). Had great communication, even with a last minute change it was all very well organized in advance and we had no problems accessing the property. It got really hot during our stay, so think about your tolerance for fans/windows/cold shower as your means of cooling off - it was manageable for us. For being in an apartment, there wasn't much noise at all from upstairs, and we respected the 'walk soft' request. It can get lively outside on the street if you leave the windows open, but the bedroom is in the back of the building and is very peaceful over night. Can't say enough about having such a spacious place in the heart of a great area - we would return in a heartbeat!

Lovely apartment on the edge of the 3rd arrondissement in a classic building. The owner was very helpful and attentive. The apartment was suited for two people with one bedroom. This was our first time staying in the 3rd and it’s a great neighborhood.

Living in Paris

For us, this was the perfect stay. A stunning, extremely comfortable and spacious home on the Marais/11th border. The 1930s building retains its original deco details. We have stayed in the Marais before and enjoyed it, but now it is so crowded you can hardly walk on the streets. This location in the 11th is very local, friendly, and has everything you need nearby, as included in the helpfulcompendium provided by the owner. We had plenty of space to spread out, his and hers bathroom vanities with separate and private WC and shower, and large kitchen. Every room has a large window for ventilation. A far cry from most of the generic, cheaply thrown together rentals available these days. The owner is a person of excellent taste who did not skimp on the interior details. We ate at Orgueil, a short walk away, for one of our best meals ever in Paris. Will def come back here. Worth every penny. PS- looking at the location on Google Earth I was worried about it being on a noisy busy street. Not the case at all. The apt overlooks a beautiful tree-lined park where locals walk, bike and visit. Much quieter than the Marais. Highly recommended.

Spacious and convenient apartment

This apartment is exceedingly spacious. It has all of the amenities including a washer and dryer, good sized refrigerator and a Mac! It was well located near several metro lines and a very quick walk to a supermarket. If you want to walk, the Seine is only a 25 minute walk and well worth the sites and vibe on the way.Jean Pierre is a wonderful host and always ready to answer questions.

Paris Perfection

My husband and I stayed at this property for a week and we found it to be the perfect Paris apartment for our needs. The neighborhood is not touristy at all which is what we were looking for. There is quick access to the metro which we used to move all about the city. We felt very safe in the area and in the apartment. My husband loved opening the large windows to let in the breeze and the sounds of the city. The host was incredibly responsive and was available almost immediately when we needed him. We could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you Jean Pierre for sharing your property with us. If we are able to make it back to Paris, we would stay here again!

Wonderful apartment

We stayed for two weeks in Jean Pierre’s lovely apartment and could not have been happier. The apartment is spacious; clean; well appointed; nicely decorated; and it had everything we needed to feel right at home. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom with walk in shower. The apartment’s location was perfect. There are two metro stops just minutes away, and plenty of options for shopping and eating. The location is so much less touristy than other areas, which we loved. Jean Pierre was a great host. He checked on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed, and responded to all our inquiries immediately. We are already planning our next trip to Paris, and we will definitely be staying here again.

Great charming walkable spot

We stayed for 8 nights…walked everywhere. Fun restaurants nearby. Metro system is close and excellent. JP (owner) is very responsive.

Superb apartment in great location

We could not have wanted more for our first Paris experience. Situated in a bustling neighborhood with restaurants galore and easy access to multiple metro lines, the location is excellent! Convenient markets and parks in every direction. Comfortable bed and living area as well! If we return to Paris, we will definitely stay at Jean Pierre’s place!!!

It felt like home!

Lovely, spacious, convenient. This apartment was everything we hoped for. The apartment itself was perfect- walk-in shower, 2 bathroom sinks, lots of room for clothes, eat-in kitchen , fully supplied. TV with great instructions. Good wi-fi. Excellent location- Monoprix literally around the corner, and 2 other stores within a block. 2 subway lines very close.easy walk to Marais Our host was very responsive when we had a question and had clear information for us.

Location and Comfort

The apartment is well furnished and comfortable. The owner, concierge and house cleaner were very helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has excellent modern plumbing. Very light, airy and quiet. Three metro stops a short walk away

Location superb

Exactly as depicted in photos. Owner responds quickly to questions and use of alternate communication app improved accessibility. Availability of elevator when we'd been walking all day was golden. That and close proximity of 3 metro routes made all the difference for us (we are 73 & 74 years old and not used to walking the 12,000-15,000 steps we logged every day). It was SO, SO much nicer to sit and talk with comfy upholstered chairs and large couch than a multitude of other rentals we've stayed at with just one chaise or kitchen style bare seats. Good Wifi. We were there late Sept so never dealt with extremes of hot or cold. Fast hot water in shower. Small Monop & Franprix both super close; larger supermarket about 6-7 min away. Unlikely we'll have opportunity to return to Paris but if we do we'd try for this rental first.
