Welcome to our new home in Payson, AZ. It's a very clean and cozy home that seats in a nice almost 3 acre lot. There’s plenty of room to play. It is a perfect place to get away from the summer heat. During the winter it has nice hills to play when there’s snow. Sometimes if you’re lucky deer or elk will visit you right in the property. Minutes away from the shops, restaurants, hiking, fishing and other activities. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and second bedroom has a bunkbed with queen at the bottom and twin sized mattress on top and a roll away bed on the bottom. The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower. It has a spacious closet with washer and dryer. We have board games, cornhole in the garage and a packman game located in the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen has brand new appliances and has everything you need to make a meal for your family. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch and a smart TV. It has an arcadia door that opens up to the backyard and give lots of natural lights.. The backyard has a serene view of the big trees and hills. This is a go to place to relax and recharge.

This was our second time staying at the property. We had a group of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids aged 12, 10, and 9. Our kids love exploring the trails around the home. The proximity to hiking and food is great. The home is exactly how it presents in pictures and it's always very clean. The owners are easy to get a hold of and are so accommodating they even let us check in early which helped tremendously with the plans we had that day. If I had to make a suggestion, I would recommend the owners adding a few more pillows. For our group of two adults and three older children we could have used a couple more. I'm sure I could have reached out to them but it really wasn't that big of a deal to us. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Payson, this is it.

Really comfortable nice place to stay for the weekend. Kid friendly and has easy access to the town. Upon arrival we notice there was a camper trailer parked in front of the VRBO with someone staying in it which took away from the privacy I was looking for when I booked this VRBO being that it’s advertised as “Private”. Outside of that it is a really nice comfortable place.

Place was spotless and comfy. The grounds were beautiful and we felt nicely tucked away in the forest while still being close to town. The place was decorated for Christmas which was the perfect festive touch since we were there Christmas Eve! We also saw a whole pack of elk on the way to the house as well!

The house was easy to access and was clean. The lock on the front door was new and had some problems, but the owners responded right away and were able to open the door remotely.One suggestion is dark curtains. The house was bright in the morning and woke the kids up.

Great place for a getaway!

This is a very nice house on a quiet, beautiful property! It has all modern amenities in a rural setting. But, still close to town if you need something. House and property are very well kept. They supply the essentials and everything works as it should. Host supplied necessary information ahead of time and we had zero issues. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone! We will probably try to stay here again, in the future. Thank you for providing us a great weekend escape from the phoenix heat!

4th of July

We had a great holiday weekend on the pines. The house is obviously new. Plenty of room. The mattress was very comfy. Loved the kitchen island. The house is close to the 260 so you do hear the road noise if your outside but it wasn't a big deal. Only critique would be if you're planning to cook at the rental instead of going out to eat you need to bring everything with you. No blender, hand mixer, crockpot etc. A shade umbrella for the outdoor table would've been nice as the patio is on the south side. Minor inconvenience. We would certainly stay here again

The house is beautiful and super clean! As someone who is sensitive to many smells, I appreciate that it seemed no fragrances were used in the home. The property feels secluded and my kids loved seeing a few deer in the yard! The trundle bed was really useful and everything was well stocked! We’d definitely stay here again!

The perfect VRBO!

This is probably one of the nicest rental units we have stayed in and we have been doing this for five years.. The unit is very new with great modern decor, VERY clean, excellent bed. Nice views in a secluded neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac.The host is very pleasant and helpful.The driveway is perfect for playing Smashball, which we like.I can't think of anything negative to say except for the stools in the kitchen which are hard and uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the host and suspect he will have changed them by the time you read this.This property earns our highest possible recommendation.
