What a great little find. A piece of paradise. We only stayed one night, but we will be back for more. We met the kindest people, and enjoyed nature, and relaxation. The place is simple, yet very clean, comfortable, and inviting. We loved our experience, and can't wait to come back again.

There was no option for any kind of ventilation, only the AC unit which blew loudly into the room. We opened the outside patio door at the risk of letting in unwanted guests. My suggestion would be to at least install a screen door to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Perfection in the pines!

Clean cozy and comfortable! Friendly staff. Beautiful area. May not seem like a big deal but having paper towels in the room was a nice added bonus.

A Newly Discovered Gem!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend at KR! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The atmosphere is incredible! The creek was a great place to explore! I’ve lived in AZ for 46 years and this was my first time staying at this property. I will definitely return!

This place was super cute & very clean. We got the studio with a full kitchen & everything we would need to cookwith a semi private picnics table patio in the back facing the mountain & a walkway balcony entrance facing the private drive way to the four new units & then the creek. The balcony had two wooden Adirondack chairs to enjoy our morning coffee & evening drinks. we even ate dinner there. the creeks water was too low to see from our balcony, but we could see the pretty trees & embankment surrounding the creek. our new units were away from the noise of the rest of the facility, on the other side of the creek creek & separated by the private drive but still a short 3 minute walk to cross the creek to get to the main facility. these new units are very close to the larger road & you can hear the noise from that road, but it was worth it to have the increased privacy near the creek. we escaped the Phoenix heat during the hottest days of summer & it was still in the upper 80s in the heat of the day, but we had nice mornings.

The cabin was clean, rustic, and cute. Wonderful deck facing the creek with a real mountain cabin feel. Grounds are very clean, food and drinks at the restaurant exceeded expectations. A good little Arizona retreat!

Not as good as it used to be

Food: not as many options as there used to be and closed some days during the week, I had Margarita Pizza, Great flavor, poor cooking My wife has chicken caesar salad chicken was bland no seasoning Room: clean safe and comfortable, no bathtubs, no full length mirror for the wife, coffee pot kind of funky you never did figure that out but coffee available in the lobby. There's a path that goes along the creek just behind the property unfortunately it's full of cow and bear poop, staff knows about it you think they'd clean it up periodically? Speaking of bears we are out in the wild, keep an eye on your kids and pets. Internet seem to work okay although we didn't use it much if you turn on Wi-Fi calling your phone will work
