Terrible service

Upon arrival to this hotel that one of my grandmother managed until she retired. I wasn’t able to pay for our room or deposit without a major credit card. I was in pembroke to visit my grandmother on her death bed. And because of not getting checked in I didn’t get to see her Friday night. I lost hours of vital time with her. The staff would not help accommodate us or even accept a $1000 deposit. The front desk lady was not hospitable. To work in customer service and treat a customer like that was unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again which is heartbreaking as it holds years of precious memories.

Fantastic hotel for families

THE PERFECT ACCOMMODATIONS For Our family. They have a great pool area and a fantastic gym for those who like to use it while away. The rooms were very clean. The included breakfast was the best we have ever had at any hotel. You order off a menu and it is made fresh to order. Wil definitely be staying here again when in the area for river rafting.

Great place!

Clean. Comfortable bed! Very good offering of breakfast. Convenient full service restaurant with good selection for dinner! Friendly staff! Easy location close to hwy 17 but not noisy!

Should have changed rooms

The room had a very damp smell with a tiny dehumidifier that did not appear to be working. We were given a room on the first floor which requires you to go down two flights of stairs from the ground floor as there is no elevator in that section of the hotel. That part was not a big deal as we are able bodied, if the room had been worth the trip down. We should have requested a different room but it was late and we were very tired and just wanted a quick night of rest before continuing on the road the next day. My husband woke up very stuffed up from the dampness which then lasted several days. Besides that the hotel is dated but well kept and had a very good hot breakfast at the restaurant on site. Very quiet location as well

Nice stay

Decent restaurant on the premises. The only problem was the air conditioner. It was loud and ineffective. Other than that we enjoyed our 1 night stay.

The staff is friendly but everyone is spread out doing many tasks. Had to wait a good 10 minutes to see someone at the front desk when we arrived at 17h30. The room was clean and fresh (good AC if you take in account that it was 36°C out). The carpet need to be changed though.
