Great Stay in Peniche

We enjoyed our stay in Peniche. We are a family of 4 adults, and there was plenty of room for all. The house is comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking simple meals. Plenty of restaurants and small grocery stores within an easy walk. The courtyard is lovely; unfortunately it was too cold during our stay to relax outside!

Charming, spotless and very spacious house that is very central

We stayed for 16 days in Peniche and we stayed in this really beautiful house in the middle of the Peniche. Paula was there to great and was very helpful. The house has 2 double beds and a single with a pull out bed as well. The house is spotless and very clean, the kitchen is very well equipped. There is an upstairs balcony with gets sun from 10 am and the courtyard is massive with plenty of seating. There are loads of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance and there is a supermarket within 7 mins. The beach is only about 1.5km away but we hired a moped from Wide Side Camper to get around Peniche. I highly recommend staying in Paula's house, you won't regret it...

Schönes Anwesen, voll ausgestattet

Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, Kaffee, Wasser, Öl, Gewürze, etc.. Der Patio hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Jederzeit wieder.

Schönes kleines Haus mitten in Peniche

Schönes Haus mit großem Innenhof, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Ziemlich enge Gassen, nicht immer leicht, einen Parkplatz zu finden, für einen Strandurlaub sind die guten, großen Strände zu weit weg, da mind. 30 Minuten Fussmarsch. Aber ansonsten zentrale Lage mitten in der Stadt

September in Peniche

Die Kommunikation mit Joao war schnell und effektiv und informativ. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt, auch wenn wir uns nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben. Das Haus liegt perfekt in der "Altstadt" von Peniche und ist modern renoviert. Küche perfekt ausgestattet. Das Haus ist süss eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz. Schöner großer Innenhof. Das Badezimmer ist modern und dank Lüfter auch frei von Feuchtigkeit. Allerdings wäre bei 5 Personen ein weiteres von Vorteil. Aber, wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und können dieses kleine Juwel nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Nettes kleines Häuschen abseits des Massentourismus

Das Häuschen war genau wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos abgebildet und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Man sieht, dass Paula and João viel Arbeit und Liebe in die Sanierung des Häuschens investiert haben. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das innenliegende Bad hat etwas mit dem Abtransport der feuchten Luft zu kämpfen, genau dafür ist aber ein Luftentfeuchter im Bad vorhanden, den man sinnvollerweise dazu nutzen kann. Das Häuschen befindet sich im Ortskern, so dass der riesige Strand im Norden mit den Surfern genauso weit entfernt ist wie der sehr schöne gemütliche Südstrand Praia do Porto da Areia Sul. Wunderbar kann man auch am Meer entlang zu Fuß Cabo Corvoeiro erreichen, am schönsten abends wenn die Sonne tief steht.

Lovely little house in Peniche

Lovely house in a cute part of Peniche we didn't know. The house itself had everything one could need for a comfortable stay and a gorgeous patio. All the mod cons including dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine - a true home from home. The beach a short 12 - 15 minute walk and the centre of Peniche with its many bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Thoroughly recommendable!

Beengt und technische Mängel

Lage ist mittendrin und ein Minihäuschen; im Verhältnis zu den benachbarten Häusern vermutlich gut in Schuss. Wir waren Eltern mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern, alle groß gewachsen. Für uns war die Wohnung etwas beengt. Im oberen Zimmer mussten wir immer geduckt stehen, dort waren die Matratzen schlecht. Der Küchentisch drinnen war bereits für uns Vier sehr klein. Draußen war es noch zu frisch, außerdem schwirrten da viele Mücken (?) rum. Das Bad war für 4 Personen für unseren Geschmack deutlich zu klein. Es fehlte ein Fenster, entsprechend dampfig war es, wenn 4 hintereinander duschen. Die Temperaturregelung war eine Herausforderung - bis warmes Wasser kam, ging viel Wasser verloren und dann war es zu heiß. Zudem kam irgendwann (4 Personen) Wasser unter der Duschkabine heraus und lief ins kleine Bad (ohne Fenster). Tipp an die Vermieter: verschieden farbige Handtücher: bei uns waren alle weiß (schwer zu unterscheiden, wem welches gehört). In der Küche war die Spülmaschine eine Herausforderung: der untere Geschirrkorb war unserer Meinung nach nicht ein Original: er musste trickreich eingeschoben werden. Ich konnte das nicht und überließ es meinem Mann. Manche Teller waren total verkratzt. Es gab allerdings auch nur 1 Schneidebrett, weshalb ich ein 2tes kaufte. Die Pfannen waren z.T. ganz schief/verformt. Leider gab es keinen Pfannenschieber. Wir haben nur einmal gekocht: da musste ein Löffel herhalten. Fazit: Lage gut, Strandfern nett möbliert für kleine Menschen maximal 4 Personen

Sehr schönes Haus mit ebenso grossem Innenhof, zentral gelegen

Das Haus ist sehr schön und funktionell renoviert worden. Alles da, was gebraucht wird und genug Raum , damit man sich auch mal zurück ziehen kann. Sehr zu empfehlen und auch die Nachbarn waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Bäcker 10 Meter entfernt, Supermärke ca. 1 km, Eisdielen und Cafes 5 Minuten Vermutet haben wir coronabedingt nicht getroffen, waren aber super nett und unkompliziert. Jederzeit gerne wieder

Proche du centre et pourtant au calme.

Idéalement situé près du centre, la maison est très calme malgré le cri des goélands. La terrasse est très agréable et pratique car située juste à coté de la cuisine. Peniche est une charmante ville, je recommande de faire le tour par les chemins côtiers. La pâtisserie juste à coté propose des pastels de nata délicieuses.

Totalmente recomendable

La situación de la casa es muy cómoda. No tienen vistas pero está a un paso del centro y a un paseo de las playas. El mobiliario y la decoración son ideales. Es pequeña pero está muy bien aprovechada y la terraza le da magníficas posibilidades de esparcimiento. Pero lo mejor es que no han escatimado en detalles para proporcionar una estancia muy agradable (aseo, menaje, juegos de mesa, libros, plancha, etc.). Incluso los vecinos son hospitalarios, como no puede ser de otra forma en Portugal...

Little house, 3 bedrooms but probably not enough space inside for more than 2 or 3 to eat and sit. A lot of outside space to sit and eat and cook. Need and tidy house with really almost all kitchen assesory you need. Even a sharp knife.

Petite maison joliment rénovée et bien agencée , dans laquelle nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Un peu serré pour 5 personnes mais le temps nous a permis de bien profiter de l'agréable terrasse, ce qui agrandit la maison. Bonne localisation Très bon accueil. Il manque un peu de vaisselle et de placards de rangement, et les chambres sont un peu lumineuse le matin (rideaux pas très occultants...)

Maison agréable, cosy, et Bien équipée.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable, en famille. Nous avons apprécié le jardin privé, avec barbecue à disposition. Toutes les commodites à proximité: boulangerie, supérette, glacier... plage et école de surf. Idéalement située pour découvrir la région: Óbidos, Lisbonne... Nous recommandons cette adresse sans hésitation.
