Northumberland,the Scottish borders and the Yorkshire Dales are all within an hours drive with the nearby market towns of Appleby and Penrith serving up a selection of shops, local amenities or pub lunch options you’ll be spoilt for choice. Anglers will find plenty of fishing locally and for those who like to keep busy willl likely find themselves in one of the many local leisure centres.
