The space
Situated on a 5-acre property just 30 minutes from Mandurah, this beautifully renovated 3x2 country home feels secluded and peaceful, yet remains close to both Mandurah and Perth.

Inspired by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, this unique mirrored duplex sits beside our family home. You may be greeted by the cheerful woof of our small Pomeranian, Pandora, or a soft brush from Ziggy, our friendly ragdoll cat.

The rustic living and kitchen area overlooks the pool and paddocks, where your horses can dine while meeting our own — Banjo, Monty, and Mustang. The home features three queen bedrooms with wardrobes, two bathrooms, a powder room, and soaring ceilings with exposed rafters. The spacious barn-style kitchen includes a 900mm freestanding oven, stovetop, and a Nespresso machine to kickstart your day.

Shaped like a beehive, the home stays airy with great cross-ventilation, complemented by split-system air conditioning in the main living space and master bedroom. For winter, a large fireplace takes center stage, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Step outside to a wrap-around alfresco area overlooking the pool and paddocks — perfect for a sunset wine or relaxed family meal. Guests have full access to the pool and garden, shared respectfully with our family. Our kids, Oliver (9) and Milla (7), are always excited to meet new friends and love a friendly hello from visiting children.

For horse lovers, we welcome up to six horses by arrangement. Enjoy scenic rides straight from the property or explore the surrounding area — the nearby Thorny Devil Brewery (just a few hundred meters away) even has horse parking!

Guest access
There is guest parking under the carport at the end of the driveway which is suitable for 2 cars. Overflow parking is available for additional vehicles.

A large area is also provided for suitable horse float parking to the right side of the drive.

Upon arrival the guest house is the entry door on the right hand side with a lock box.

Guests have access to the communal pool and right garden at the rear of the car port.

Paddock access is permitted with consultation only. Please ensure children are supervised at all times in the pool area or if around the paddocks.
Other things to note
Kindly note that there are several shared outdoor spaces, and we kindly request your consideration for the privacy of both the owners and fellow guests.

Given the rural surroundings, you may encounter various wildlife such as birds, rabbits, kangaroos, and occasional mice and insects. While our house is meticulously cleaned to maintain a high standard, the presence of bugs may occur naturally, and regrettably, it's beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the unique charm of our rural retreat.
