The restaurant was a total disaster. I waited an hour for dried out meal that had obviously been sunbathing under a heat lamp for a while. I had to go to the bar after waiting 30 minutes for a drink that they forgot to pour. I witnessed this happen on at least 2 other occasions. Such a shame because they have everything else in order.. I wish these managers would realise that the customer facing element should be the last thing you cut back on… The staff were struggling with the pace! They needed at least 2 more people. Very clean and tidy hotel.

Handy location

Very handy for both station and town centre, a few mins walk of each. Quiet and comfortable room with very soft bed. Breakfast was good apart from those nasty watery scrambled eggs (powdered?). Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a slight but noticeable unpleasant smell (sewage?) around the reception/lifts area.
