The hotel was amazing, the rooms gorgeous, the food and bar amazing. The only downside to our stay was being woken up ay.t 7am by the room cleaners as the cupboard they used was right next to our room. Avoid rm 22 if possible as we had a late night and would have loved a lay in as check out wasnt until 11am. Other than that no complaints x

Very clean and friendly hotel. Staff are great and breakfast is fantastic. New menu is a little bit weird, lack of healthy options and inability to cater for special diets. Gammon is awful. Never a problem before. However, this place is still excellent.

Poor check in and left waiting, went for evening meal no table available, found a table but was told we couldn't use it, complained and asked to see the manager and then as we were a resident we could have the table. Upsetting. My caesar salad lettuce leaves were rotten but hidden at the bottom of the bowl. All very upsetting. Informed staff in the morning our wash hand basin was blocked, was told it would be sorted out. This did not happen. We left our key at reception when we left and was confronted in the outside area had we paid our bill. We said we had and had received a receipt but was asked to step inside so he could check it. We felt like we were a criminal. This was the deputy manager and i Informed him that we had received our receipt from the manager Alisia. Eventually we left very upset indeed. We shall not be using this hotel again
