Liked old fashioned charm of hotel. Really cool place. Controller for climate was either not working or too difficult for this old guy to figure out. Maybe put some printed instructions for how to work the remote. We were in room 212. Was not a major detraction from our stay, just a little frustrating, otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very classic building. Public spaces were excellent. Our room had a severe slant in the floor. I have trouble with my balance. It was difficult to move around (room 218). I don't know how the other rooms are?

Old small hotel near Lake Michigan. Unpretentious, cozy, good beds, great food. No elevator. Nice people. Very clean. Sells out.very tiny bathroom in twin bed room.

On the road again

This was a last minute decision to stay as we didn't know how far we would travel. We found this Inn which is very nice and comfortable. It is an older establishment with no elevator. Our room is nice but the bathroom is small as per the period of the building.

We enjoy our annual visit to this property. It retains its historical value while offering a cozy way to just relax and be. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and hospitable staff.

Terrace Inn is a Quaint Historical Property. We had Dinner in the 1911 Restaurant, it was Restaurant Week in Petoskey, our 3 Course Meal was Delicious and the Service was Excellent..We had a nice experience, enjoyed our stay.

Would definitely go back.

Good value for historic hotel. Restaurant food is great and priced that way; would recommend the wagyu steak. Sheet were clearly laundered but had several significant stains on them; no trouble getting new ones from front desk but had to change them out ourselves. Breakfast was much better than average hotel breakfast.

Historic old inn Carrie’s old world tradition. Very nice place to stay, except for lack of ventilation. Portable heater was blasting upon arrival without need. In looking for AC in order to cool room down, there wasn’t one. We understand the nature of the place (and liked it), but there were no screens on windows and did not feel it wise to leave windows open at night. SW facing has us wondering what happens to this (small) room during summer/fall hotter months. Charming place and we did enjoy our stay (even with the noisy party in lobby until 0130 the next morning), but lacked proper room ventilation.
