Staff were very nice, but when we got there the key system was down, maintenance had to let us into our rooms.. Parking price for valet was a little pricey but I guess you have to expect that in the downtown area. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Great location to many wonderful Philly things. Room was very clean, in fact, whole hotel very well maintained as far as cleanliness. Polite and attentive staff. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because of parking. I called in advance and was told there was self parking which I needed. Upon arrival that was not the case, in fact, it was difficult to even locate the area for the valet parking as it was not indicated anywhere so we ended up parking in a lot on Juniper Street which worked out better anyway because it was only $35 for 24 hours.

Breakfast was great. Room was clean but drafty. I received good service from staff-- front desk and housekeeping. There was an incident with a staff allegedly entering a customer room without sufficient notice. The "discussion" at the front desk was overheard by all around and the customer called for police, causing a period of discomfort for those at breakfast.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was also nice and had plenty of food. My only complaint which is why I did not give a 5 star is because we requested a fan be put in our room and we did not get one. My request was sent the same night I booked the room and I did not receive a response then or at any time. I didnt see a reason to ask again. Other than that, it was perfect!

It was a very average stay. The beds were npt very comfortable, the bathtub was extremely small, the pillows were terrible, the towels were very used and old, the breakfast area was super packed every morning and availability was limited options, the gym was very sub par as well. I was extremely disappointed that you "valet" but charge $47/night to park when down the street, in a garge, parking is less expensive. Overall it is not a bad choice. I am being a bit picky. It was within walking distance evrrywhere which is why we chose the hotel. That brings all the lower stars up in my opinion. For the value, i have stayed in much nicer hotels. You will not feel unsafe and basic needs are met. Thankfully, we used most of our time outside of the hotel and typically only came back to sleep.

The front desk staff was not very friendly when we asked for things. We didn’t have hot water in the bathroom sink. Loved the proximity to the convention center though.
