Our issue was with the heating system. It was not working. In the middle of the night woke up because we were cold. I called in the morning they came to fix it. It worked for a bit but then again it stopped working and back to cool air. They came again and again said it would be fine moving forward. Long behold it stopped working again!! Finally they decided to change our room but It was such an inconvenience. Having to load everything back up and move to another room. Mind you we were there for a dance convention/competion so we were not even in the room half the time but had to make time to be there for when the engineers came to “fix” the problem. We ended up changing rooms at 10pm after a full day of madness. Tired and hungry packed our things and moved. They did not offer any kind of reimbursement/credit for the inconvenience which hotels do. We travel a lot for dance and that has been the case with other hotels if a problem arises. Also the lay out of the room is very odd. The tv is on the side wall beside the bed not in front of the bed!

This is my Philly favorite. A resurrected modernist masterpiece. The rooms are bright and sunny and upper floors have spectacular views. Spotless and a wonderful staff.

Bad breakfast

The room I was in had like rust stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. One of the blankets on the bed had stains on it. Also I ordered room service for breakfast and the food was horrible it was cold also the scrapple didn’t even look like scrapple.

The staff was very friendly and had no problem checking in or out. We were able to leave our luggage until we left the property. The one downfall was that the walls to our room were very thin. We could hear the people next to us singing, taking, coughing, etc. we even heard people on the other side.
