Smells like wet dirty socks!

Bed was very uncomfortable and would sink when we sat on it. The room was stinky and humid, smelled like dirty wet socks. The tub was painted to cover up the fact that it was old and stained, but the paint they used was peeling off when we used the tub. The continental breakfast was not great, but adequate and they didn't offer any protein (non-carb) alternatives for diabetics. The front desk and hotel staff was understaffed so they couldn't appropriately care for their guests. We asked for clean towels twice, and got the runaround when we did (the cleaning staff told us to go to the front desk, and the front desk told us the opposite). We had to ask for them to clean our room the day before or they wouldn't do it, who does that anyway??? Overall a lousy hotel. I guess you get what you pay for with a Wyndham hotel! Never again.

The room itself was clean, but after we left for a bit and came back the AC had put a rather damp smell in to the room like old wet towels. Other than that though the staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent IMO, eggs sausage and waffles plus bagels and toast. The pool is small and located in the "front" of the hotel so felt a little too public for our taste. But the location is great, especially if you're interested in the Asian district and the Chandler mall both just down the road a bit.

Disappointing

Waited 25 minutes for someone to arrive at the counter to check, and barely received an apology. The room was fine, the sheets were comfortable and the bath linens were nice. The drapes were torn, and the cabinet door needed to be fixed. There was no washcloth in the room, and no cups, except one coffee cup. When checking out, again had to wait for someone to show up at the counter.

They only clean by request - and even then its very minimal. Furthermore, they don't make the policy clear at check in. The common areas of the property are very dirty - carpets, baseboards, etc.

DISGUSTING put me in a room where sheets had not been changed. Huge yellow spots on sheets, long black human hair everywhere around pillows, clearly visible and sheets not tucked in but comforter/ bed was made but the Sheets were DIRTY, UNCHANGED, DISGUSTING. Vacuuming was only done minimally as you could see the thick line of dirt all against the walls that was not vacuumed up. Who knows what else they skimp on as far as being sanitary & clean. Front desk changed my room but didn't offer me any credits or anything for inconvenience. I would have demanded a refund but it was late and I had already had to repack and unpack and switch rooms once Never will I stat at a wingate again - especially this one!
