Because of its convenient location near my business trip destination, this was my fourth time staying at this hotel. We stayed for three nights in total. However, on the morning of our final day, August 8th, at around 7:20 a.m., a loud and piercing alarm suddenly went off. I initially assumed it would stop within a few minutes, but it continued for at least twenty minutes.
When I inquired at the front desk, I was told it was a “test.” This explanation was both surprising and unacceptable. The timing and duration were entirely unreasonable—what kind of “test” lasts nearly half an hour and is conducted around 7 a.m., when most guests are still resting? This incident severely disrupted my sleep, especially as I had gone to bed very late the previous night.
Equally concerning was the hotel’s complete lack of communication. There was no prior notice, no updates during the incident, and no follow-up afterwards. The matter was treated as if nothing had happened. Such poor handling of a situation, combined with the lack of consideration for guests’ comfort, resulted in one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hotel. I am deeply disappointed in the brand, and I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to prevent similar incidents in the future.
