I wanted to love this property. I am a mom returning her kiddo to ASU. I knew we wouldn’t be at the property much, as I was setting up an apartment for my ASU student. I wasn’t looking for luxury, and the price is fantastic. However, there are aspects that make me certain I won’t stay there again. First the good parts; It’s quiet and the kitchens are fairly well equipped (ours did not have a cookie sheet so check before you shop.) The bed was really comfortable, and the AC (though loud) worked great. You also have a hair dryer and an iron. It’s very close to ASU, though apparently on the wrong side of town lake. Now the cons; The couch is a vinyl material. I can overlook that because we were hardly there, but if you are vacationing, it might not be what you want. There are also some super shady characters in the area. And the coup de grace, the last night I killed a roach in the apartment so we all went back to my kiddo’s studio, but without our luggage. When we came back to collect our luggage (check out morning), we could not get into our room with the code. I texted/ called as we were getting close to our flight time. Another guest was leaving at the same time and said that he could not get back into his room either. Keep in mind that check out isn’t until 11, and our flight was at 9:30. We did get back into our room in the knick of time, and I think it happened via remote, and the person never came to speak to us and I just received a call to confirm that we had access.
