The room was dirty upon arrival, and our request for cleaning was not fulfilled. The thermostat was also not functioning properly; although a staff member was able to fix the rattling noise from the unit, the room remained extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the sliding shower door was defective and would not stay closed. Overall, the stay did not reflect the price we paid.

Room was decently clean. Oreo under a chair and used coffee pod in coffee maker. Shampoo containers were empty upon arrival. Shocked by a lack of trash containers throughout the whole hotel.

Great location for a Smoky Mountains National Park vacation home base with only a 15 minute drive to the Park. We had a delightfully spacious corner suite with great views of the river. Breakfast is mediocre but edible for one morning. This property does cater to large tour bus groups. Pool was closed due to autumn season and no hot tub available inside or outside. Overall, one of the best hotels in Pigeon Forge other than Dollywood Resort but to my knowledge Dollywood does not offer suites as large as the suites in Black Fox lodge.
