Let me first say that the staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good with lots of different choices. I rented 2 adjoining rooms. The carpet was torn and raveled in the one room. The carpet in our room was nasty dirty. The mattresses needed replaced 5 years ago. The chairs for the desk were nasty and broke. The furniture was run down with scratches all over. The commode was sitting cockeyed in the bathroom. I have learned my lesson and will never stay at a La Quinta again. Pictures on website are very deceiving. The hallways are so dark that at night it is a little creepy. All dogs should be kept on one floor, we had one that barked and whined non stop while owners were gone down the hall.

Hotel check in was smooth. Room was clean but had a huge rip in the rug in the entry area. We kept getting our feet snagged on it when coming in and out of the room. Bathroom door looked as if it had water damage on the bottom (all brown and stained). Rolling chair in the room had a broken arm rest that kept falling off. Breakfast was always good but depending on the day you had to wait a while for hot food refill because some of the employees didn’t seem interested in cooking/refilling for guests. Housekeeping states they change towels and make beds daily. There were a few days we left early and came back at 3 PM and this hadn't been done. It states sheets would be changed after 3 nights and ours weren't (I marked them with a pencil to make sure it was done). We had a 6 night stay so it's not like we didn't meet the requirement. I found it hilarious they kept leaving out the piece of paper that mentioned giving a tip. The pool and jacuzzi was a great bonus. The area was nice with an abundance of restautants and shops. The Island was a short walk. I would recommend staying here but just note those few items previously mentioned. I'm sure management will respond with some type of generic response but just wanted people to know what they're potentially paying for when they stay.

Poor Quality

We walked in after 12 hours driving, the smell of propane was overwhelming when we walked in. They told us it is no problem from the pilot on the fireplace. When we got into our room it smelled musty and the carpet was wet. We did not stay. Still waiting for my refund 5 days later,

This is one of very few places in PF that is Pet Friendly. Our dog is a Yellow lab that is diabetic and is mostly blind. He wears a vest that he is blind. They have treated him like gold. the 2 times we have stayed there, If you have a pet, this place is the one to stay and plus the river walk is about 100 yards away. ❤️
