It was good that the hotel was in the center of town near the main tourist atractions and the main transport facilities. The hotel needs lots of modernization and upgrade The room was small and the shower was too small for a double bedroom. The windows are in bad condition so we could hear all the noise from the street. Difficult to have a good night sleep

A great hotel for exploring Pisa. It has a rather shabby chicness about it which I personally love, I will be returning to Pisa next year and will stay in the same hotel. The hotel has a long and interesting history and has fabulous pictures and paintings throughout. Yes there is some disrepair but it add to a very unique charm. Look beyond any disrepair and enjoy. It is worth booking a room that over looks the River, as it is the only hotel in Pisa that does!

Very old building does need some work which the hotel are striving to do little by little. We spent very little time in the room so was fine for us us. River view room nice but terribly noisy. Breakfast good selection.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Everything.Complete refurbishment.
Location: Good location, close to Railway station, close to tourist attractions.
This could and should be a nice Hotel but unfortunately it's let down by very poor decor and maintenance.

I would not go back. Very worn out hotel with (not in a nice way) old furnitures in the room. Toilet didn't flush properly and we had to use common toilet in the 1st floor. Had I seen the place beforehand I would never chosen to stay. Looks desent / ok in pictures, but in reality it is much worse. Had paid in advance and couldn't cancel anymore. Cleaning job in the room was good concerning the age of the furnitures, fabrics, toilet etc. So one extra point from that.
