Lovely hotel. We were met by the friendly owner Greg when we arrived and shown to a lovely room with great views over the hills. The whole hotel (a former large house) is beautifully decorated in keeping with the house, and has well kept gardens for sunny days. Very close to the town centre but quiet. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Highly recommended all round.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The owner, Greg was very welcoming and helpful, recommending places to have dinner and to visit. My husband enjoyed the full breakfast while I enjoyed perfectly-poached eggs and we both had a lovely fresh fruit salad to start. Parking was on-site and there was a pathway through the beautiful garden on to the main high street.

After vacationing in Scotland for 2 weeks and staying in multiple places, this was by far one of our favorites. Clean, safe, with great hospitality by the owner. Breakfast was great as well. It’s a fantastic house and is well maintained in a great location. I had researched this house before our trip, but booked it last minute based on our location at the time in Scotland. Very happy I was able to stay here and enjoy it. As a high Expedia user, I strongly recommend this place.
