Room was not cleaned well at check in. I checked it all out and wiped surfaces with Clorox wipes because it was dirty. Hairs and nail clippings found in the bathroom. Garbages were full in the dining area for breakfast when we arrived at 4pm (and was the case every day). Garbage in the hallways that stayed there for days. No luggage rack or hair dryer in room. Fridge was missing door to freezer. Tub was plugged and did not drain. Shampoo and conditioner not in room and had to ask for it and load it myself. Toward evening on the second day, I found a bed bug. Staff offered a new room right away. They let us know they treat the property every 7-14 days. (Two different answers). They wanted to give me a room a few down and I asked to go further away. Room was not clean but did not see signs of bugs. We also didn't see any in the first room though either. Exterior doors were not secure. Key not needed to get in. Pool was dark and not sure how clean it was. I stepped on an earring that went into my toe. Laundry and electrical rooms left open and not secured. The laundry chute which had a huge sign to close after use to prevent fire was left open Fri-Monday. I let management know and it remained open. I asked for compensation. They said they'd call by Monday. No call I called the manager who said the owner is on holiday so he is waiting to get approval and I will hear back within a week but they will give me a free stay at one of their properties. I asked for a refund. No response

The halls had a strong unpleasant odor. There was paint spilled on floor areas making it difficult to step around it. Black mold was visible where wall coverings had peeled up. When housekeeping came down the hall they spilled their items on the hall floors and did not turn around to pick up their stuff. I saw multiple guests demanding to check out early when they saw the condition of the hotel. The pool had rust on its door and on equipment. There were no pool or gym towels at all. Items dropped on the gym floor were still on the floor two days later The hotel manager hung up on one guest who was complaining about the hotel's condition and about having excess money charged to her credit card. The breakfast area was not clean. I called Expedia and told an agent about this place. Two other guests called another booking group to complain. I offered to send photographs to Expedia but they could not upload the pix.

The room was nice. The cleaning crew was still active in our area after 1900EST. There was a restaurant in the hotel. (Menu online has not been updated). It served its purpose.

While cheap, the staff is as not helpful. There was someone in our room when we got there and no running water in our second room. When asking for a hair dryer the woman at the front desk said she had no idea where to get one. The restaurant staff was excellent but we learned they are leaving January 1st because of the hotel not being run well.

The hotel was being treated for bed bugs. The room was unclean, dust every where. Event the shared toilets were out of order. Immediately checked out and got zero refund. I had a very worst experience.

I had a terrible experience at Comfort Inn Suites Pittsburgh Fox Chapel. Within minutes of checking in, I found blood stains on the pillows and bed covers. While heading to the front desk, I saw several rooms and lobby furniture being treated for bed bugs, including a second room they tried to move me to. I immediately checked out, but the manager refused any refund, even though I stayed only a few minutes, and I was charged an extra $40 tax despite my Expedia booking already including taxes. The hotel is old, has a strong carpet odor, and feels unsafe. I strongly do not recommend staying here.

The hotel is outdated but decent. Bed was comfortable. There should be a bigger indicator that it’s a hotel from outside the building because I couldn’t see the name.

The facility is very outdated and dirty. The pool looked green and algae growing in it. My friends room didn’t have toilet paper and when she asked for some they handed her a box of Kleenex and said they were out. Toilet didn’t flush well and tub drained very slow. The bar was okay. Not sure how this place hasn’t been condemned. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

I did not enjoy the bar. After being seated & the waitress/ bartender would be over to take our order, moments later we were told the kitchen was closed, this was prior to 11:30, although karaoke was open until 1am. The room bathroom was not cleaned, tub/ shower was filthy. I had to clean it myself, you could visibly see the dirt ring around the tub, prior users soap splashes or body wash on the shower walls. The sink was unclean as well as the toilet. Thankfully, I always being cleaning supplies with my to any hotel. The comforter on the bed has a huge brown stain on it. The staff did provide a cleaner one for us to put on the bed ourselves. The room had a moist smell to it, not sure how clean the bedding was, as it had a wet, not fully dried smell to the pillow cases/pillow/sheets. The area was quiet, it's located right off the highway exit, the staff was ok.

Received no information at check-in. Given my key not told when breakfast was or any other amenities available. Entered the hotel. There was a huge paint stain on the carpeting in the hallway. Room was poorly, cleaned, crumbs in the microwave, no tissues, and an empty tissue holder, stain on the side of the mattress and no mattress cover. Lampshade was crumbled and dented. Only two towels and no bath mat for the floor. The ceramic top on the back of the toilet did not match the toilet, leaving space in between the side of the tank and the inside. Carpet was filthy.

It was a health inspectors nightmare The first room had what appeared to be bloody wound drainage all over the pillow and smeared down the wall between the two beds. The second room we were given was foul smelling upon entering the bathroom we sat the odor was coming from large areas of black and pink mold, dripping and running down the walls. The third room which the manager said was his best room he had a hotel worker run in and spray something before letting us in. The bathroom in this room also had what appeared to be brown and black mold spots on the ceiling above the shower. We got so sick we had to leave it triggered my husbands respiratory issues. The manager refused to come and speak with me at first and then finally the lady at the receptionist desk who was in tears per her “for the way he was talking” to her got him to step out of the office. His only response wa that out of three rooms we could have settled for something. It was gross I had also mentioned that the “security” doors exiting the facility were not operational as they had large pieces of red duck tape prohibiting the doors from engaging. He simply shrugged his shoulders. He stated that he could not issue us a refund it had to come from hotels.com which they tried to get resolution but the hotel refused. I will be bubbling this all up to their corporate office and all other appropriate entities. The pictures that were provided to hotels.com completely misrepresent and mislead consumers
