This is one of the coolest hotels at which I've stayed in a while. Comfortable, chic, and sexy, it is in a very walkable area with a lot to do. I will definitely be back!

Bed too soft; internet access speed is fine. Easy to walk around in the area for bus rides and supermarkets and McDonald ( average walking time 10 minutes) Room and building a bit old but still clean. Self service to clear the rubbish and dirty linens and get resupply myself Online support via WhatsApp was fast most of the time but some time needed to wait for a few hours for their response. The answers for my questions some time were wrong but they corrected that quickly

This was such a cute place to stay! Even though there’s no front desk, two staff members were there to greet and assist us when we arrived. The air conditioning in our original room wasn’t working, and while it took a few steps and about a 15-minute call to get it sorted, they were able to move us to a new room. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. There’s also a beautiful restaurant right at the entrance—it looked amazing, though we didn’t have time to try it. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

I love that the hotel is in a historic building, an old YMCA building across from a beautiful church. It's nicely decorated, spacious, the area is quiet, and it's accessible to other parts of the city. It has a fridge, microwave, table, chairs, reading lights in the bed, an iron, and plenty of hooks, which many rooms lack. There is a fabulous restaurant on the first floor -- only open for dinner but with a pleasant ambiance, good cocktails, and interesting food. A couple of negatives: There is no one on staff on-site. We didn't have a light for the bathroom for the first day because we didn't know there was a master switch by the front door. They looked like two regular light switches, and there was no signage to alert us. It took until the next day to get a message saying that it was most likely causing the light to be out. Also, the king-sized bed has a ledge butted up against the wall, making it clunky to get up once you're in bed on that side. Otherwise, check-in and out was easy and seamless.

The hotel itself was different from what I’m used to and I think that’s what drew me in. Loved the large windows and the views if the city. Loved the king bed and how simple the room was. Perfect for a quick trip but would be a great option for an extended one as well since there were many walkable options and travel by car was quick too. Will definitely seek out Kasa hotels in the future!

Don’t stay here.

I could not stay in the room due to the fact it was 83° in it. When I contacted Kasa to see what could be done about it, the answer was nothing. There was no attempt to offer me another room, possibly at a lower floor at a lower that might be a better temperature. When I asked for a refund, that was denied. My experience was that Kasa did not care about customer comfort. That’s unfortunate since I’ve stayed there before and have recommended the Maverick to others. Given the circumstances of extremely high heat in the Pittsburgh area I was not warned in advance of my arrival that the room was gonna be hot. I will no longer recommed this hotel.
