I am attaching pictures of how dirty and dusty the room was. Microwave was extremely dirty, dresser and nightstand covered in dust. Mirror had toothpaste on it. Shower was extremely dirty.

Pittsburgh hotel

This was a great hotel for a trip to see family. Electronic check in was easy, the room was very clean, and the location is great. Our room was small but we knew we wouldn’t be there much. Larger options are available. They are working opening a bar and restaurant, so we are excited to come back and see that.

The suite was spacious and the bathrom was as promised - large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. The room had large windows but had light blocking curtains. Bed was super comfy. Staff was always helpful and very responsive via text. I was able to find free parking on a nearby street for the whole week. Will definitely be returning.

Sweetest hidden gem

This is the cutest retro style hotel room in a beautiful historic building. Thoughtfully appointed with unique decor and elevated touches including nice linen, feather pilllows and the like. The rooms are beautiful and uniquely designed, they have a touch of modern design inside a historical building. The rooms have high ceilings and tall windows There is wide range of restaurant options all in walking distance and an convenient parking lot (paid) close by. I would recommend The Maverick as a nice place to stay on the east side Pittsburgh.
