I'm only giving this 2 stars because the hotel was clean and it's in a good part of Pittsburgh, it's near everything and the views of the rivers are beautiful. However, this hotel has seen much better days. Noticable water damage on the walls in hallways, tiles in our room bathroom coming off revealing rust. Walls are paper thin. I could hear complete conversations of the room next to us and the people weren't speaking that loud. Also, Why are any hotels still using spring mattresses when there is foam mattresses now? I felt every spring in that bed and was so uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well at all with springs poking into my back. The front desk staff acted like they couldn't be bothered to answer simple questions and check-in wasn't welcoming. The nicest and most helpful employees I ran into were the bellmen who took our luggage in & out and the people who cleaned the rooms. They were very kind and helpful! I wouldn't stay here again, there are many other options and I will try those.

The bar/lounge area should be open on Saturdays at noon so patrons can watch colkege football somewhere on prooerty other than their room. Also there should be at least on TV in the lobby area that guests can watch when someone is waiting on travel companions.

Great conference spot

Enjoyed all the business rooms used for the conference. The food was good. Quite a bit of refresh needs to be done in the bathroom. There was visible mold and apota of corrosion. My room had visitors..maybe some type of beetle.

The hotel is very dated, housekeeping staff was friendly but the front desk staff were not informed about the rooms and not helpful. The mattress’ were uncomfortable and the pull out couch mattress was stained and there was no bedding in the room it had to be requested and took a long time. There was also no housekeeping service for the whole stay. Not worth the price
