A 5 minute free ferry ride and instantly, you are away from it all, relaxed and ready to enjoy the island life!
No cars, no stores, no problem! Little Gasparilla Island is a beautiful bridgeless barrier island only accessible by boat. The island has 7 miles of uncrowded 'Old Florida Beaches'. You truly feel like you are on a private island.

The sunsets! Little Gasparilla Island has the most amazing sunsets. No two are alike. The colors in the afterglow can be spectacular. You will be sure to go home with plenty of magnificent sunset photos, sharks teeth, shells and sand dollars to treasure.

The island offers some of the best fishing. You can fish from the dock or the beach. There are many options for boat rentals and fishing guides which I can provide upon request. There are dolphins, manatee, gopher turtles, sea turtles, blue heron, pelicans as well as many other bird species. During sea turtle season you might be able to catch a baby sea turtle release.

Palm Paradise is brand new to the rental market! It’s right on the Bay, featuring beautiful bay views, and only a 5 minute walk or 1 minute golf cart ride (included with your stay, see note) to the beach. You’ll love the new modern kitchen, high end appliances and quartzite countertops which extends into your dining table.

My home features a queen bed on the main floor master bedroom, a queen on the second bedroom upstairs and a twin with a trundle bed in the third upstairs bedroom (a rare 3 bedroom layout at hideaway bay). There are 2 full bathrooms one on each floor and a complementary golf cart rental is included in your stay. Beach chairs, beach toys, and beach umbrellas are all provided for your stay.

The ferry is free for guests and runs every 1-2-3 hours depending on the day of the week. There is free gated parking on the mainland. Also included is the use of the heated community pool. You can even bring your own boat (21.5 feet maximum) and dock it right at the community dock. You can actually see your boat from the top of the stairs at this condo!!! There are 33 dock slips on a first come first serve basis. If you choose, you can use the community grill and smoker or grill at the condo with the included gas grill.

Lastly, I am a full time LGI resident and here to help if you have any questions or additional needs during your stay, I’m just a golf cart ride away!

I stumbled upon this little piece of paradise completely by accident. My daughters and I booked some last-minute flights to Fort Myers without a place to stay. I knew I didn’t want to drive super far so I was looking for places along the coast no more than about an hour away, and that is when I found Natalie’s condo on Little Gasparilla Island.Initially, I was a little confused about the entire process of parking our car and taking the ferry over, but Natalie explained everything to me. The location of Natalie‘s condo at Hideaway Bay Beach Club is perfect. You have an amazing view of the bay and ferry dock. Getting our cart of luggage and groceries was much more simple than I thought it was going to be, and the walk from the ferry the condo took less than two minutes.Natalie’s condo is also located very close to the pool as well as the ice machine. That might sound weird, but there is a large ice machine for people staying at the Hideaway Bay Beach club. It was nice to stop by and fill up our cooler before heading down to the beach. Probably one of my favorite things we did was taking long rides on the golf cart. We loved riding around, looking at all the different houses and exploring different parts of the island. I don’t think I would have enjoyed the island as much without the use of a golf cart. The condo had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there is a supply of games to play.

Pool!! Goes to almost 6 feet. Never busy, maybe 1-2 other families at a time. Plenty of tables and chairs!
On the ferry! Pay attention to the ferry schedule!
On a drive on the golf cart - no roads, just sandy paths!
