Located in a prime position, with sea views from the terrace and infinity pool, Myrtle Villa, alongside sister property Diktamos Villa (semi-detached) is a fantastic choice for those wanting to be close to a number of amenities.
The property is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the large and impressive beach at Tavronitis, although guests will be pleased to know that there are plenty of spots even closer to the villa in which to relax and enjoy a cooling dip. The nearest taverna (seasonal) is located at the end of the grounds, an ideal and convenient place to wander out for traditional Greek cuisine.

The village of Tavronitis is situated inland and can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes. It is a charming village that offers visitors a more laid-back experience compared to some of the busier tourist spots on the island. It is known for its rural charm, natural beauty, and proximity to both the sea and the mountains. Here you will discover several traditional tavernas and cafes, offering freshly prepared dishes, such as moussaka, souvlaki, and grilled fish, along with homemade raki and local wines. Dining in Tavronitis allows guests to experience authentic Cretan hospitality in a relaxed and unhurried environment. Close by there a handful of local shops where you can buy fresh produce and everyday essentials.

Myrtle Villa is one of four equally desirable properties sharing a gated entrance. Steps lead up to the accommodation which consists of a modern minimalistic kitchen with breakfast bar and comfortable living area with doors opening out to the inviting exterior dining terrace and pool, the perfect place to start your day. Two double bedrooms can be found on this level, both with en suite shower rooms. A third bedroom, separate shower room and TV room are located on the lower ground floor.

The nearby coastline is pebbly with clear waters, making it suitable for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. It does not get as busy as some of the more well known beaches on the island, meaning a peaceful day by the sea can be enjoyed even during the most popular times of the year. For those seeking more action, boat trips and watersports are also available.

Being located close to the neighbouring properties Diktamos Villa (next door - attached), Sage Villa and Menta Villa (both behind) means that Myrtle could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy. Myrtle Villa & Diktamos Villa are locacted next to each other and are a mirror image.
