I loved the location. The room was spacious and the parking was convenient. Only things I didn’t like is that there were only two towels, one coffee pod, and no ironing board in the room. Other than that I would stay here again.

Overall, the property is great! Views are amazing. Apartments are very modern and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. 1 block from the beach and a 2-min walk to the longest stretch of open beach in Playa (from CTM to Punta Esmerelda). Only 3 blocks to 5th Ave (Quinta) with all the shops, bars, and restaurants and an easy walk to 38th street with its tree-sheltered cafes and restaurants. Big convenience stores are a short walk away and a major grocery store can be found 6 blocks away on 34th and 10th. However, the wifi in the building frequently chokes for up to 10 or 15 minutes at a time. Not good for online meetings or watching videos. Since there is no cell reception in the building, you can only use your mobile plan to solve the problem on the rooftop. But the rooftop can be noisy if the music is jacked up. I've taken video calls at local cafes, but those can be noisy as well. Tenants in the building have told me that they've repeatedly complained about the wifi but nothing has been done. Hopefully, this review will help change that. I'm a digital nomad and we tend to stay for months, not just a week or two. I would love to recommend this place to my colleagues but I can't if the wifi problem is not fixed. So, all in all, I would highly recommend it for anyone on vacation. If it's a working vacation, think twice.

I have to knock this place for not having WiFi that works. Had to work on occasion and had to use my hotspot. This also meant TV didn't work. I wouldn't have came here had I know this. Other than that, the place is nice, the area is nice, the staff was good.

Comfortable Residences

This is my second time at Singular Dream. Very good location close to beach and Quinta Avenida. There's a convenience store one block away. Parking is available in the basement and beautiful pool and views on the rooftop. Beds are firm, so that's good for some. It's central AC which can be noisy and they are expanding, so construction noise starts at 8am (we were on building A). These are very modern units with all appliances. Restaurants are within walking distance.

Elevators were not working for a few days of our stay. We had a baby with a stroller and were given a room on 3rds floor. Imagine bringing the stroller up and down the stairs every time you want to go outside?! WiFi did not work the entire duration of our stay. My husband had to work and it was a nightmare. Also we did not have hot water in the room. Hotel send a maintenance guy every day to fix it but the little boiler in the room didn’t work. And they would’t give us another room despite all the complaints. On top of that hotel personal wasn’t very helpful. We asked for late checkout and the person in the reception denied. After all we went through. Water in the pool is dirty. They don’t give you fresh pool towels more than once a day even if you ask. Everything is breaking apart in the room. The only good thing about the hotel is the gym. Also, the location is nice, near the beach.

4 towells for 5 registered guests. No pool towells and no option for more towells. In addition, when we asked we were handled with short and snarky responses despite being as courteous and considerate. They left off saying they'd see what they could do with no response. Room was less than clean, sticky dirty floors, dusty. Restaurant on roof wasn't a real restaurant just a bar with options that closed at 4p. Staff was nice enough other than receptionist that mishandled the towells request. I would not stay here again and would not recommend.

great location- horrible communication. i booked a king bed & queen, didn’t get it. they told me they had none available- mind you i booked room in 2024. at check in, i wasn’t provided any info. just a key. not until i asked about beach club, wifi, a few days later. power went out twice, when leaving/arriving to hotel, nothing was mentioned about it & no update. they were even checking people in and not telling them about the power outage. it was about 4 hrs of no electricity. it sucked. they also have an ants problem, that was annoying. overall, it was perfect location for us but i will not be returning in the future.
