Sandos Caracol Eco Resort - All Inclusive offers 956 air-conditioned accommodations with free minibar items and laptop-compatible safes. Rooms open to balconies. Plasma televisions come with satellite channels.

Bathrooms include a shower, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers. Business-friendly amenities include desks and telephones. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and an iron/ironing board. Housekeeping is provided on a daily basis.

2 outdoor tennis courts, a health club, complimentary bicycles and a complimentary water park with waterslides are featured at the property. 3 outdoor swimming pools and 5 hot tubs are on site. In addition to a kids' pool, other recreational amenities include a sauna and a fitness centre.

SPA SANDOS has 16 treatment rooms, including rooms for couples and outdoor treatment areas. Massages are available on the beach and in the spa. The spa is equipped with a sauna, a hot tub, a steam room and Turkish bath/hammam.

The spa is open daily. Guests under 18 years old are not allowed in the spa.

It was a very happy, festive, family oriented place. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would go back with my family, young and old. Lounging by the ocean or the pool provided opportunities to relax or have fun. The food was outstanding. It was paradise! Guests can be prepared to be patient and flexible because many of the staff don’t speak english so you might get something different than what you asked for 😉

I would highly recommend Sandos Caracol. I went for a destination wedding and fell in love with this resort. It had so many options for different activities to do. My favorite thing about was that it was a great place for families traveling with young children. My children absolutely loved the aqua park and all the animals that they got to see around the premises. As an adult who loves nature I also really loved all the animals and the landscape of the resort. I will definitely be back!!!

we paid much less and had much better experience other places. rooms are wrecking. food and restaurants are average towards low. and if you lose a towel card they ripp you off for 50$usd. like their towel are made of finest . beach is not what you can rnjpy. rocky and not sandy. to be honest if you come here, you come to enjoy slides and some animals around. other than that this resort doesn’t worth it at all. we will never go back

We loved staying at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. We brought our 3year old and 8month old and had a fantastic time. The resort was gorgeous with plants and trees everywhere throughout the resort. We saw wild life everyday. It was lovely to walk around and explore this big resort. Many restaurant options and the food was good. The workers worked hard and were so friendly and happy! The pools were great. The only down fall of this place was the beach was not perfect (some big rocks within the sand). The fire show was also scary for kids. That being said I would still recommend this Eco friendly resort!!

This is our 4 th visit to the property. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the value is incredible. We stayed in the adult only section and it is amazing. The staff was on top of things and we were served efficiently. The buffets were good offering lots of options. We do totally wish the ala cart restaurant reservation option was different. They reset at midnight and if you don’t select then you are out of luck! We tried every morning and once at 3:30 a.m but no luck. This resort is beautiful and we saw so many animals. We would highly recommend to others

We have visited Sandos Caracol twice and thoroughly enjoyed our time on both occasions. The food is excellent—we especially loved Fogo de Brazil, the Hibachi restaurant, and the Riviera. Even though we’re not typically fans of buffets, we found them to be fresh, well-stocked, and consistently good. Plus, the 24-hour taco bar is fantastic—having access to delicious tacos anytime is a huge perk! One of the most unique and incredible aspects of this resort is how seamlessly it integrates with nature. Seeing all the animals throughout the property is such a fun experience, and the on-site Mayan ruins add an extra layer of history and charm. The Mayan ceremony held one night was truly unforgettable. Our only real complaint—though it’s beyond the hotel's control—is the public beach right next to the resort’s beach. While it’s understandable that vendors are present, the constant interruptions from people selling massages, braids, and other items became excessive. Not only do they walk by repeatedly throughout the day, but they also tend to gather between the cabanas, sometimes blocking views just to chat with each other. Since we paid for the Select Club Adults-Only section, we felt it was frustrating how often they encroached on the space meant for guests seeking a more peaceful, exclusive experience. That being said, we didn’t let it ruin our time. We still loved our beach days—the cabanas are wonderful, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. We’re already planning to return

My kids loved the water park. The beach was nice but the ocean was hard to access. The water in front on the resort had lots of large rocks.
