Amazing home!

Miguel and Liza were incredible. We had Miguel’s dinners twice & everything was SO good. We booked the massage, and the airport shuttle transfer. The owners were so helpful with everything & payment at the end was very easy. Any questions were quickly answered. I felt like we were at a hotel! We had 6 people staying, with so much extra space. Close to town, and the airport. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay. Miguel & Liza are very good at helping from start to finish; recommendations, feeding us… a lot of food! The villa was stocked upon arrival with all of our groceries. Miguel was available right away if we had a question. He made our catch of the day and then some for one of our dinners. The service staff very friendly and hard working. They really took care of us! We will be back and recommend you find this gem with the ocean with private beach right in your back yard.

Great Experience!

The Fish Villa was an amazing place to stay for the week! Where to begin? Liza was extremely easy to deal with beforehand and during our stay, always answering questions very quickly. Miguel met us on arrival and gave us a great overview of the property and also some good advice about Puerto Morelos. He was always available to answer questions. The property was spotless when we arrived and the maids gave a valiant effort daily in keeping it that way, even though we were a party of 9 ranging from 4 years old to 81 years old. The pool and deck were attended to every morning before we all got up. We ordered the Welcome Dinner and a birthday celebration dinner from Miguel and both were delicious. And so much food! We always had enough for lunch the next day. The property looks just like it does in the photos, and although the beach did have sargassum washing up daily the beach was still wonderful. Beautiful warm water with waves just right for our young grandsons. Many sandcastles were built! There were also lots of boogy boards and other toys on the property which we used regularly. The villas are about a 15 minute drive from town so we recommend hiring a car. And book Get Away car rentals through Liza. They were an amazing company to deal with, dropping off our cars as asked for and meeting us at the airport to pick them up when we left. We all highly recommend this property. You won't regret it!!

Best vacation

We had such a great time and a lot of it had to do with our stay at the villa. Miguel was extremely nice, helpful and prepared delicious meals. We stayed at the Fish Villa and it was much more beautiful than it was in the photos. I’m hoping I can organize another stay at Playa Del Secreto. 5 stars all around.

Best VRBO we’ve experienced!!

Hands down, best vacation VRBO ever!! Communications and coordination were personable, direct with owners, spot-on accurate, overly accommodating and full service high-quality from booking and transfers, to tours, excursions, groceries, dinners, cleaning services etc. The Villa is spectacular and set up for couples, families, friends, groups etc. Luxury treatment by local onsite care takers for all needs! We were treated better than family and every request was met and exceeded our expectations. The grocery and dinner service was out of this world and made the trip a unique success!! There is no comparison to the qualify of dinners prepared by the owner chef and his team! So good, cost effective and convenient!! We traveled with 3 couples and 3 single adults. The 9 of us were very comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. Having private pool, beautiful ocean front steps away, all the beach chairs, beds, tables….very spoiled. Better than resorts and ocean front location and beach can not be beat. Thank you for the best vacation Liza and Miguel. We will be back as often as possible and recommend you to all our friends!! Wonderful Stay at the Secret Beach Villa

Had a fantastic stay at the Beach Villa. Liza and Miguel were fantastic hosts, very friendly and prompt with communication. They provided everything we needed for our family vacation including crib and pack and play for 2 babies. Miguel even cooked delicious meals for us (the lobster surf and turf was unreal!) and made a cake for a birthday! We already want to go back!

Amazing!

Couldn’t ask for a better location for our vacation. We had our 6 grandkids and between the pool and the beach, they had non stop fun. We had Chef Miguel cook dinner for us every night. The meals were delivered timely, hot and were delicious. Loved how the Villa’s were beautifully decorated with items appropriate to their name. We stayed in the Fish and Boat Villa’s. There was plenty of seating inside and out to spread out. Thank you Liza and Miguel for everything you did to make our vacation memorable.

nice place for a group or family

we were looking for a place for our family to enjoy without having to venture into mexico nightlife or mix into college crowd type cancun so this was perfect. the house was nice, Anna , Miguels assistant was so sweet, Miguel was very attentive & kind. Liza does all the preplanning so unfortunately we could not meet in person, but most everything is done by email before hand. Very detailed. I will say so much so that it is a bit confusing. (and I am I detail fanatic!) but appreciate it all the same. word of advice: do use the links to book extras ahead yourself, I did not realize I was supposed to do that, I thought I had read they would do that, and I sort of felt like I was really bothering them constantly. Massages are NOT on the beach like in the photo, but they were nice . Not alot of beach, alot of seaweed, but absolutely beautiful! Clean, beach house vibe, pool is cleaned at night and morning. wonderful people

Best Vacation Ever

We celebrated my 60th birthday with this amazing trip. It was an absolute dream! From the very beginning, communication with Liza was prompt, friendly, and so helpful. She set up things like a transport van to pick us up/return us to airport, car rental, and even had the place put up some decorations for my birthday! Once we arrived Miguel was our contact person and chef. He greeted us with a smile and was always available to assist us in any way. And he was our fabulous chef! Let me tell you we ate most all our dinners and some breakfasts through their chef service and it was one of the highlights of our trip! If you can, do it! We found it to be much more affordable and delicious than any other food experience away from their place. And their place…it was beyond incredible! The view, private pool, steps to the beach (raked and cleaned each day), housekeeping, couldn’t be more convenient or better. My family (ages 5, 6, 32, 34, 35, 60, 68, and 78) all gave it a strong 10/10!! My grandson even learned how to swim while there. And we always felt safe, as the beach is “private” and the area is gated and guarded 24/7. This was my dream vacation and Liza, Miguel, and staff were a big part in making it possible! We all hope to return!

Best vacation!!!!

We all loved Liza and Miguel’s place so much! They were excellent hosts- organized and the property was so clean. We had a great section of beach and our kids loved exploring the little tide pools a short walk away. It was so convenient for the kids to run out to the pool or beach whenever they wanted and to quickly get back inside when they needed a break from the sun. Adults loved the food and Miguel’s cooking class was a lot of fun! Would recommend going into Puerto Morelos for a day and also check out some ceynotes. We’d love to come back!

Perfect Location!

We had the most wonderful spring break experience at our stay in this lovely home. The location is fabulous...not too far from the airport, grocery store, restaurants, and local attractions but RIGHT on a fabulously secluded beach! Our main goal was to be away from crowded beaches and this villa delivered! It was just perfect for our family of 6.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Secret Beach Villas was simply awesome! The location is easy and convenient to the Cancun Airport and the property is safe and secure, just to get started! The beach is quite literally one of the best in all of Mexico. The sand is pristine, the water clean, and ocean safe to swim and play in. The villa is wonderful and worked very well for our group of seven. Do yourself a favor and use Miguel as your chef! His food is amazing and we looked forward to every meal! I don't know what will be more memorable over time, Miguel's cooking or the superb quality of the beach and ocean! Either way, both were fabulous and the Secret Beach Villas will definitely be at the top of our list for future vacations!

Amazing time

Thank you Miguel and team. We had an amazing time and the property was beautiful. Miguel cooked the best food, which was a huge treat. House was awesome, pool and beach remarkable. Waking up with that view each morning was spectacular. Loved the local and quiet atmosphere. We had a really great time - it was fun for all ages. Will definitely come again. My family stayed in the fish villa for a week. From the beginning of the trip to the end, our experience was amazing! Miguel and Liza were great hosts who were always available if we needed anything. The house was perfect! Nothing feels better than walking right out of a house, past the private pool, and walking straight onto the beach! The location is perfect, 30 minutes from Cancun and 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen. We really liked visiting Puerto Morelos, which was only a 15 minute drive. Honestly, all the beaches in Cancun and Playa del Carmen were packed. We appreciated our quite beach in front of the villa. The service was great. There were housekeepers who cleaned everything up daily. And a person who cleaned the beach and pool area. I highly recommend staying here!!!

It was all that we'd hoped for.

My extended family has had a reunion in Mexico every winter for a long time, and we've rented several different houses over the years. This one really is as advertised ( that's not to be taken for granted)! Everything was clean, orderly, and maintained (and the daily cleaners were very non-intrusive, which we appreciated). We arrived to the groceries we ordered and a really terrific prepared meal (empanadas, sides, margaritas) and that level of service lasted our entire stay. When little things did go wrong (broken chair, TV trouble), someone was there to fix it right away. And the property itself is fantastic! We've stayed in bigger houses but none was better at accomodating our large group comfortably for meals and just happily hanging out. The pool was cleaned every day and the beach was the best yet--just soft, white sand, perfect for even our toddler to roll in the waves. I also really appreciated how every request we made (recommendations for excursions, transport to and from airport, etc.) was handled quickly and smoothly. This one really is a winner.

Amazing!

This was one of my best trips yet. And I've had a few. Chef Miguel and his staff are amazing. Place was perfect, food was beyond perfect and breath talking views. Will be back for sure!

Perfect getaway for families, esp with young children

We had a really wonderful stay with Miguel and Liza. We really couldn't ask for a better set up with our young children. We rented the house with two families, with total 4 children under 4. Liza was very communicative before check in, and answered all of our questions. She helped us arrange transfers to airport, which were seamless. She also helped us get groceries and baby items for the children, including pack n plays, gates, and high chairs. When you check in, Miguel takes over. He is a wonderful chef! We opted to get breakfast and dinner nearly every day of our stay. The food is delicious and enjoyed by all! There are many different meal options, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. (fish tacos are a must!) He even helped us to get a medication for our daughter while we are there. The property is extremely safe! This is a gated community with a guard. The property is very clean. they take wonderful care of the pool and beach which was pristine. We loved the option of having pool and beach right outside for maximum convenience with young kids with nap schedules etc. This was not a negative for us, but just note that it is quite far from attractions and town. It was $60 USD roundtrip to get to closest town for our one dinner out. This would likely not be ideal stay for people trying to go out often and party, etc. This is a great situation for larger groups if you want to rent multiple adjacent villas. Also the construction is very sound and cement walls makes it nearly impossible to hear your neighbors. The staff do an excellent job keeping everything looking great. This is the first place we've ever stayed that we for sure plan to come back. We've already told so many friends and family about it, but dont want to let the secret out! :)

Wow what a great place to stay

The Fish Villa was a great property for our married children and us older folks. The setting is totally amazing with immediate access to the ocean if that’s not enough, we enjoyed the personal pool as well. The water accessories were perfect and met all our needs. We were eight adults and we could not have been happier. We were isolated with a guarded gate and felt totally safe at all times. We used the food service at the villa for many evenings and the food was incredible with plenty of great and exciting food. We also took advantage of the cooking class with Chef Miguel. Any foodie would love to attend the two hour class. It was hands-on and so much fun!!! We drove two cars to give us lots of options. We really liked that part of it. The beach was perfect.

WOW WOW WOW!!

Service, food, staff, beach all wonderful! Men played golf right up the highway, and quaint Puerto Moreles, also very close. No need to go anywhere if you’re here to relax and enjoy your company, but if you feel adventures Liza can make it happen. Highly recommend.

Amazing Property!!

Everything was impeccable! Great location, beautiful villa, perfect beach, incredible hospitality and service. We ate several meals a day cooked by the chef and every meal was amazing! Our second time staying here and we will be going back!!

Family fun

Our family enjoyed our time at this amazing property. Miguel and the staff were great. The property is in a safe and quiet space and we enjoyed the pool even in the rain. Miguel even let us borrow a metal detector and some fishing gear.
