After we complained about the noise and construction bothering us in our room they moved it to a different room that was better but could hear construction noises The room that were assigned first did not have proper privacy locks as well Otherwise it’s a great resort and exceptional food and hospitality

Customer service was excellent. The property is average at best. The restaurants are just ok. The property itself is very big so it’s quite a trek to the main pool area and beach. They really try to keep the seaweed in check but don’t be fooled…. Its everywhere. Sorry but there’s no way this is a 9.6 resort. The biggest downside is upon arrival. They can call it what they want but there’s an aggressive push to get you to buy a timeshare. Call the pitch what you want but they are timeshares. All that being said, the customer service was top notch.

The resort is absolutely incredible—easily one of the best we've experienced. From the delicious food and top-shelf drinks to the lively entertainment, everything exceeded expectations. The staff truly made the trip memorable—especially Andres at the swim-up bar, who brought great energy and kept things fun. He made hanging out at the bar a highlight of our stay. My only critique would be the lack of drink service to the swim-up suites. Without waitstaff coming around, the convenience of the swim-up feature feels a bit wasted. If we return, we’ll likely skip the swim-up upgrade for that reason.

Amazing attention to every detail. Such a curious and professional staff. Never had to wait for anything and was always taken care of throughout the duration of our trip. Secrets Maroma is by far the best resort I have been to. The staff are extremely friendly! The beach was absolutely amazing! The food and drinks were incredible! My wife and I had the most amazing time there! I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for an all inclusive/adults only resort!

We stayed at Secrets Maroma with a group of 24 to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday, and the resort was amazing at accommodating such a large group. From seamless poolside service to organizing group dining, everything was handled with ease and attention to detail. The swim-out pool off our room was a refreshing way to start the day, and the beach was absolutely breathtaking. We loved the variety of activities—learning to salsa dance was a blast, and the silent disco was something I didn’t know I needed but absolutely loved! The workout facilities were also a pleasant surprise—clean, modern, and well-equipped. Secrets Maroma strikes the perfect balance of luxury, fun, and relaxation.

block 26 - preferred club swim out room - Roger the concierage was always great (third time in his building) - special shout out to preferred club beach service waiter Marco - very hard working (noticeably moreso then a few of the others) and would give drink recommendations. We stayed at Secrets Maroma in April. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The staff was very friendly. There are many restaurant choices, although we only ate at the Italian, French, Asian, and breakfast buffet. We also really enjoyed the pop up food and "ice cream truck" options by the pool. We loved that they had fun things to do that you could enjoy on your own at any time, such as mini golf, hammocks, and lawn games (favorite was the giant pool table with mini soccer balls). They had many activities each day, including a tuna snoring and behind the scenes kitchen tour. There is a bar/pool area that was lively, as well as a chill infinity pool. We also had a swim out private pool that is shared by only 10 rooms. The beach was incredible. We rented a cabana on the beach and it was totally worth it. Definitely recommend Secrets Maroma.

Started off with a couple minor hiccups but overall the resort is amazing. Highly recommend. Best service I’ve ever had on a vacation.
