It was the first time at the Residence Inn. We have stayed at a few other hotels in the area while attending the Pleasanton Scottish Highland Gathering & Games. It was a very pleasant stay. Entering towards the front desk is a spacious waiting area looking into a great room with 2 huge big screen tv's. Check in was simple with staff, who were professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. The suite was clean and roomy... nothing out of order. Being on the ground floor, our suite was exceptionally quiet. Morning breakfast buffet had a huge selection of hot and cold foods, fresh fruits, organic eggs, soufflé, waffles & more. The breakfast staff (2) were super. They made sure nothing was low or empty. Coffee was never empty. There is still an outdoor pool and indoor gym. Something for everyone. Will come back again!
