Pure Relaxation!

A wonderful, chilled, week away, during a hot-spell, with family. On arrival, the owners, Francois and Marie, were there to explain the basics. The house itself, was beautifully clean and welcoming. It really was like walking into another 'home'. The kitchen contained everything you could need and the bedrooms were perfectly suited to us (having a downstairs suite was fantastic since I am partially disabled). Outside, is beautifully landscaped and included a great outdoor space, with electric canopy and side walls......perfect for letting the little one play whilst preparing lunch! It even has a fab lighting system for nightime enjoyment. The pool, the highlight, and a priority for us, was beautiful. Clean, sparkling and very inviting. Due to the heat of the week, we spent most of the week in the pool! Perfect! Just what we wanted! So, all in all, a great rental and fantastic holiday! Many thanks Francois and Marie! Comment for future note: Communication through the VRBO app is very slow so you end up waiting a long time for answers and instructions. Recommendation.....exchange direct phone numbers when full payment has been received rather than waiting to arrival.

Piscine non conforme

Nous avons réservé la maison exclusivement pour la piscine dont nous avons été déçu. En effet les 5 personnes qui se sont baignés ont tous développé une otite (dont une qui n'en a jamais eu) et mon fils ainé a même saigné de l'oreille 2 fois suite à cette grosse infection ainsi qu'une baisse d'audition. Nous avons des certificats médicaux qui confirment que c'est dû à la présence de germes et bactéries présents dans l'eau de la piscine. Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires durant toute la semaine pour filtrer la piscine alors qu'elle est prévue pour 8 personnes et aurait donc dû être nettoyée. À notre arrivée il y avait la presence d'un ballon au fond de l'eau qui était trouble ce qui témoigne de l'absence de nettoyage de la piscine pour notre séjour. Aucun matériel à disposition pour ramasser d'éventuels insectes ou débris trouvés dans l'eau. Louer une maison avec piscine suppose de sérieuses normes d'hygiène car au final nous nous sommes retrouvés à faire des allers retours aux urgences et n'avons profité du séjour que 3 jours. Le prix ne justifie pas la location de la maison seule. Nous demandons un dédommagement à Abritel en partenariat avec les propriétaires car nous avons fait confiance au site Abritel. Ce n'est pas la première fois qu'on loue une maison avec piscine et nous n'avons jamais eu de problème! Nous attendons sérieusement une réponse d'Abritel car l'audition de mon fils en a été altéré !!!
