Car park difficult to find due to city centre improvements currently in progress. Spaces also quite tight. However parking was free due to the disruption which was a welcome bonus. Check in was simple and quick. Staff friendly and accommodating. Communal areas of the hotel very impressive and modern. Rooms spacious and well equipped, however they are quite dated. But definitely value for money, quiet at night so complaints. Would stop if down for the weekend again. Area is very central so plenty around. Great location for events in and around the city.

I like The Copthorne. I left my watch behind in my room recently and house keeping handed it in and I picked it up on my return. Nice staff, clean modern rooms, quiet, great position for town, restaurants and shops, parking, all very good.
