The house was a perfect weekend getawayfor me & my husband, the house was very clean & comfortable, we fished a little bit but didn't really catch anything worth mentioning. But we had a nice relaxing time, would definitely stay again.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This property was great. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to relax, decompress and enjoy fishing from your personal pier, this is the place! Very clean and well kept. Everything is what we expected and more. I highly recommend...we will be going back.

Lovely trip

We only stayed one night. Amazing little place. We got a stunning lightning/ thunderstorm, however the power went out for a bit. Only rec would be flashlights! lol the home was clean and cozy. I Personally enjoy a lot of pillows on the bed, so that might be something to consider! Otherwise perfect little quiet escape.

My Birthday Trip

We went on a trip for my birthday. We usually travel to Rockport for my birthday, but my father in law's place was occupied, so we decided to do something different this year. All I can say is that we had a great time and if your looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to go! We had a very great experience and we will be going again when we get the chance.

Great Fishing Stay

House was exactly as described! Very comfortable set up with all of the basic necessities and a lot of charm. Comfortable bed and couches were a huge plus, made it easy to actually relax and unwind in the evenings! Kitchen was great to be able to cook in and everything was fairly clean. Fishing pier was really nice to fish off of. Hooked up our radio, brought out our cooler, and spent several hours fishing off the pier. It was so nice to fish close and not have to lug our gear all over the place. Yard area was perfect place to cook on the grill and enjoy a nice dinner outside. Not many mosquitoes so I think we just got lucky. Nice vacation to just get away from the busy city and enjoy some quiet! HEB and Walmart were only about 20-25 minutes away so not a bad drive at all! Definitely want to come back!!

Fisherman’s dream

Relaxed out on the private pier and enjoyed endless hours of fishing. Caught an 80 pound gar, a 60 pound stingray, a 30 pound stingray, numerous catfish, and a few small rays. Truly peaceful. Ventured out to a few nearby towns to check them out and enjoy some good Mexican food. It was a great vacation. Would do it again.

We had an incredible time. The inside was recently remodeled beautifully and being on the water was awesome. We had fun fishing off the dock. We would gladly stay here again.

This was a very nice property, very clean and organized, newly remodeled, great shower, wonderful waterfront, private-pier. But, the outdoor grill was a disappointment having been left dirty and not anything I wanted to use, or clean. Also the neighborhood coming in to the property were abandoned homes some very junky. Made for a little less comfortable stay. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Overall we were satisfied but we chose to leave a day earlier than we planned.

Quiet and Relaxing

The property is just what we needed. There are cows right across the road. The dock out to the bay was new. TV worked great. Bedrooms were comfortable. House was clean. Owner even apologized for the scratches on the bathroom door. We live on a farm so those things we don't even really notice. If you need groceries the only nearby store is about 20 minutes away. Otherwise it was enjoyable. We had a relaxing visit.
