The hotel itself is beautiful and the smell in the lobby and the room itself when you enter smells amazing. We were really disappointed in the cleanliness. The big picture window had head and hand prints all over it. Microwave and light switches were dirty. Crumbs on the floor in kitchen. Bottom of shower base could use a good scrubbing. One pillow smelled awful on one of the beds. We actually had to put it in the cabinet so we didn’t smell it. Beds were comfortable and even the pull out sofa was surprisingly comfortable. The suite has everything you need for a couple nights with the kitchenette. Plenty of food options around too. Be forewarned that they are building something right by the hotel so as soon as the sun shines the trucks are working and beeping. It definitely woke us up. Hotel itself though is quiet. If room was cleaner we would stay here again as the construction is temporary and not the hotels fault. It appears the area all around this hotel is being build up.
The room were clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful, amenities were great. And the Breakfast was fantastic. I definitely would be booking here again

The room request made during the reservation was not considered, unfortunately. When we arrived, the front desk did change our room to a better location, much appreciated. The hallways and cleanliness of the rooms could be better. There was food debris in the halls and hair in the shower in our room. Overall, the best hotel breakfast of any place we have stayed recently.
I love Home2. Every trip is pleasant. I’m comfortable away from home. I’ve stayed in Augusta, Columbia, & now Port Wentworth. I’ve enjoyed my stay, everytime. Thanks!!
