Really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect to walk where we wanted to go. Breakfast was wonderful, and we enjoyed the pool area and staff we’re friendly. Comfy bed, amazing shower! Room was on the small side but no big deal for us as we were mostly in it to sleep and shower

Summer stay in Porto

We stayed three nights at the hotel. it is conveniently located near the downtown area. The breakfast buffet is very good and the massage sessions are also great. One negative: having to pay 8 euros for the use of the spa downstairs, which is a small pool with rather cold water.

The hotel was great. Lovely and clean. Very helpful staff. Pool area lovely, although take into account not very many sunbeds. The only thing we had to speak to reception about was the temperature of the water when washing, showering. It was boiling hot! Apart from that it was a lovely stay and in walking distance of everywhere

One of the best hotels in our itinerary. The staff was always friendly and available. The room was well designed and comfortable (the bed was an A+). The balcony over looked a luscious green space which made it hard to believe that you were in the middle of a city. The local self serve laundromat 2 doors away was genius for us and an under advertised benefit of the hotel (we travel light so washing facilities are important). The pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and the gym was compact yet useful. Well done!

Cute but tight quarters - understandably not a family hotel. Very, very economical. Lovely hotel in the heart of everything. Staff was lovely. Spent time at the pool, breakfast was great, walking distance to everything. 5 stars.

Good location, excellent service and value. We enjoyed the breakfast with fresh orange juice, wide offering of beverages and coffee choices and a large variety of breakfast options. The pool and garden were exquisite. Having stayed at other hotels in Porto, including the Hilton, we only wish we had found the Catalonia sooner and will return when visiting Porto again.

The stay at this hotel was overall a very good experience. The room was really nice. I would have liked to have an ironing board, but not that big of a deal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fairly close to where you want to be. You can easily walk to where you want to go or take a quick Uber/taxi. The pool area was nice, but I recommend you get your seat early as it fills up quickly. I would stay there again.
