We stayed at Oca Hotel for 10 days and really enjoyed our time there. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Ribeira—just a minute’s walk from the Douro River and Ponte Luís I Bridge, and only a few minutes from major attractions such as Porto Cathedral, the historic old town, the Porto Cable Car, the famous São Bento train station, and many more. It’s also close to plenty of eateries, including some popular spots offering authentic Portuguese cuisine. Our room was spotless—clean, neat, and tidy—with a reasonable amount of space and a small kitchenette (which we barely used during our stay). If you enjoy basic cooking, I would recommend choosing a studio-type room. Since we were on holiday, we preferred eating out. Room cleaning is provided every three days, so during our 10-day stay, the room was cleaned twice. The staff, especially the reception team, were very welcoming and friendly. They were always happy to help if we needed anything—extra coffee capsules, tea, toilet paper, bottled water, or anything else. Overall, we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oca Hotel.

A couple issues...the shower door dudnt close properly so each time we showered there was a huge water mess on the bathroom floor. Also t.p. was stingy. 1 roll everyother day for 2 women...not enough. They only clean once every 3 days. 1 time during our 5day srat. When they did clean, they did a poor job.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff was warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive, making me feel valued throughout my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The amenities were excellent—the pool was pristine, the dining options were delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Every interaction with the team reflected professionalism and genuine care. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

Excellent full sized apartment with living area, full kitchen, dining table, and a large bedroom with a king size bed. Spacious bathroom with a good sized shower. Right in the heart of old town Porto just a very short walk to the Douro River.

Very nice property, but needed some basic maintenance, such as replacing burnout lightbulbs in lamp and ceiling. Toilet had a constant dripping water noise. More towels needed. Convenient location to river and dining options.

Great location. We did have a problem, our room was not ready by 3PM when we finally got it at 3:30 it was still dirty. They sent a maid and it was ready in 30 minutes. To compensate for this inconvenience they gave us a complimentary breakfast which was outstanding.

Excellent location, spacious apartment, super comfortable, and surprisingly very quiet. The apartment was much bigger and nicer than we expected. Even though we were in the a bustling area, close to tons of shops, restaurants, and the charming riverfront, the apartment was totally quiet. The breakfast is decent - we only signed up for one morning and then made use of our kitchen the next two mornings. We loved our stay here and would book again.

Exceptional location!

Unbeatable location on Rebiera square, literally steps away from the riverfront. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around. Apartment is spacious with a modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Our particular apartment had minor maintenance issues such as an occasionally running toilet. Otherwise everything else was exceptional.

The receptionists (yes, all of them) for this property were NASTY, IRRESPONSIBLE, and TERRIBLE. I lost an important item on the day I checked out. I called the front desk later to ask if someone could go and check my room. It was such an easy task but I almost had to beg the lady to do it & she told me she’ll call me back. I was felt so grateful at the time. 3 hours later and nothing. I call again and a male receptionist picks up, he says he’ll do it 8 hours later. Half hours after the promised call, nothing. I called back and the third person told me the clean lady will work in one hour, they will inform them if there is anything. I had to call and wrangle an answer out of their mouth (they kept trying to postpone checking for some odd reason) and turns out apparently NONE of them personally went and checked even though they told me they would. The whole situation sucked.
