The rooms were comfortable although my wife did not like the way the toilet/shower areas were not completely partitioned from the rest of the room. They had a great snack and coffee service on each landing. The location is very close to the tram stop, and we used it often to get around. The alley the hotel was on was a little grungy, but I prefer to consider that part of the charm of staying in the old city versus a modern hotel. The only negative was an ungodly amount of stairs (reason for 4 stars) to reach your room as the property has no elevator. If you have issues with stairs, avoid it, otherwise it was wonderful.

I really enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was great. The location of the hotel was also awesome. You have alot near you and at a walkable distance as well. Staff were friendly. I really enjoyed the stay and I would definitely come back again!

Hotel was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and we had a balcony. Breakfast was really outstanding. You make you selections the nite before. The food comes outside your door with a special collapsible table you can move to r the window. It was great and all eco-friendly.

Very good location, nice clean rooms with high ceilings, unique structure, comfortable environment overall. Only drawback is there's no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up the narrow staircase.

We have a nice balcony off our room that we were able to watch the sunset. Our biggest challenge was that the property didn’t have an elevator, so making it to the 4th floor was a challenge for my pregnant wife

Except for the stairs it was great. People were friendly and helpful. Very clean and in a great location. There are very high stairs however if you have limited mobility. The staff are happy to help with the luggage. Plenty of dining options within walking distance.

Porto

Lovely clean central hotel offering bed and breakfast to your room. Lots of choice on the breakfast menu plus coffees and cakes located in the lobby for you to nibble on. No lift so not suitable for wheelchair users.

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It felt like being at home. It was comfortable, cozy and very user-friendly. I enjoyed access to coffee and treats right outside the rooms. The breakfast was very good. Served on a wheeled tray in the room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They directed us to local restaurants and sites to see within walking distance. It was excellent that we could leave our belongings in a special room after check-out until we were ready to leave Porto.

This hotel is like a hyper-small boarding house. My room was cramped with almost zero space, and the check-in desk was right outside my room door. It was like staying in a dorm-room, where you could hear every sound from the other rooms. In addition, the weather was between 50-65 degrees outside and the hotel shut off the central heating without communication to guests. (I found out in the middle of the night when I went to turn it on.). I would not stay at this property. They should drop the word ‘Suites’ from the title of this business.

Make sure you read they do not have a lift. There are many stairs leading into the property as well as each floor. You must be able to walk these with ease. Beautiful hotel with very nice rooms. Breakfast is served in your room each morning. Some wonderful treats to nibble at your convenience with tea and cafe provided. Port as well. Location is perfect for walking to see the city. It’s a keeper!

Nice location. On a busy street with many shops, But quite in the room. Reasonable breakfast. Hope can be served early (with a request started at 7:45am). No elevator can be challenge with heavy luggage’s.
