Shower didn't work. Water would only come out of bathtub faucet. Was asked by person at front desk, if I moved the lever around? "Sometimes you have to play with it to find a sweet spot." I took shower using a cup to pour water on me. When I asked if there was anything that they could do with my bill for the hassle she said no. When I asked for the card of the GM she gave t to me and said, "You can go now" like I was dismissed. Just awful. I can almost handle the shower not working, but her attitude was atrocious.

Room was super cute. MCM decor. Very clean. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast was very lacking. Hardly anything to choose from. No hot foods. No pancake or waffle options. But if you aren’t interested in a full breakfast spread, the stay is quite comfortable!

Simple, but very clean and comfortable. Given the high prices of lodging in Portsmouth, this affordable property is a great option! I only wish they had an elliptical machine in their fitness room.

Can’t say enough about this hotel. Great place to spend the night. Convenient to highways. Very clean, comfortable bed, modern nostalgia with a nod to the original Howard Johnson. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. And be sure and try the diner across the street.
