I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Teresa! It's a beautiful property with well appointed rooms including a mini fridge, hair dryer, fresh sheets and towels every 2 days and a lovely patio! The breakfast in the mornings was a nice addition as well. Overall, the location is close to restaurants that offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a convenient bodega store nearby to grab wine and snacks to go. The beach and city center is only a 10 min walk. Yes there are stairs, however you cannot avoid this. No matter where you stay in Positano, you will encounter stairs. I highly suggest to ask the property manager to reserve a porter to carry your suitcases to make the journey easier when you arrive and leave.

Very nice hotel and Enzo the owner was great! Parking is very close and 50.00 euros but cheap for Positano. Great litte spot

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa Teresa in Positano. The location was perfect, set high enough to offer breathtaking views of the sea and colorful cliffside homes, yet close enough to explore the town easily. The rooms were charming and comfortable, with traditional décor that felt warm and welcoming. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight—fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee with stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. The hosts were kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. Casa Teresa was the perfect mix of comfort, authenticity, and beauty. It was an unforgettable Positano experience.

Lovely room with a view, but lots of steps.

A beautiful room with separate lounge space, big bathroom and a nice terrace. It is a long way up from the ferry port and we used the porter sercvice to take our luggage up which is a must. There are a lot of flights of steps to reach this accommodation. The breakfast was good but, if it is raining then you are not able to take breakfast at the accommodation (they do give you a voucher to go to a local restaurant but you still have to pay 10€pp). Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

It’s very hard to get to hotel from the road and they didn’t say nothing about a lot of steps (150) to do with four luggage just to my room special service for luggage 15 ur per bag they asked to get down the cheap one from reception was 10 ur

We loved our stay at Casa Teresa. Although it is a walk from the beach (don't bring a roller bag!!), the result is great views, a quieter neighborhood, and quick access to Fornillo Beach (a much quieter beach). The breakfast was a great start to the day. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property is very nice and Hotel Casa Teresa has gorgeous rooms. We thought it was great location to walk Positano to town or down to the water front. Both routes take you on beautiful views with picturesque backgrounds that will provide long lasting memories.

There is no one to help and you are being told what to do. You are met with Mr. E at check in to get a key to room and collect city tax. For all other services you are on your own. The fact that the housekeeper works with her very young daughter is unusual, but what is unacceptable is for the housekeeper to yell at you when asked can we leave bags ‘SPEAK ITALIAN, YOU ARE IN ITALY’ was a step to far! There are really plenty of options around this property, so do yourself a favor and book somewhere else!

We recommend staying at Casa Teresa. Our room was a very good size, it was quiet and had everything we needed. The included breakfast was great and set us up nicely for our day and you needed the energy for the steps. We do recommend hiring a porter for your luggage up, but we managed nicely getting back down to the port without having to use one. Thank you Hotel Casa Teresa, we had a lovely (though too short) stay with you and can’t wait to return one day.

It was an amazing stay! I went on a mother daughter trip and my mother is deaf and had gotten lost one of the days. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and willing to help. The premises were beautiful and well kept. Breakfast on the terrace with a view is unmatched. Great stay for great value! Absolutely would stay again. Thank you all so much for being so wonderful to me and my family!

Nothing wrong with the physical place or the staff but it was proposed as a convenient location “ steps from the. Birch and the beach” it is located half way uptown good 30 minutes walk to downtown positano , over 200 steps to the smaller beach ( Fornillo) … overall not worh the price for the distance . Positano is not for people out of shape . You walk a lot you climb many steps and you do that under the sun and when it’s hot … I think these thing should be more precise in Expedia . I would have not reserved this hotel room just because it was inconvenient
