Convenient nice hotel

Staid one nice alone, and got a large room with 3 beds. Very well located, quiet.

Just right!

I booked this hotel after looking at the reviews: and I was not disappointed. As the room said it was "double" I e-mailed them to make sure it was a twin (as I was taking my mum) and ask if our room could be ready early. Their reply confirmed that and also asked if there's was anything they could arrange for me before our arrival. It's location is brilliant - just 2 minutes from the old town square and close to everything. A lovely old building fitting in perfectly with its surroundings. On arrival we were warmly welcomed at reception (and they'd got our room ready early - we arrived at 1130am) so we could go and unpack and settle in. As the lady on reception said - we'd had a very early start so might need to relax/lie down. She told us to just come and ask her if there was anything we wanted to book or do. And she did just that when we came back down before heading out - organising a table at a very busy restaurant and getting details/reservations for other things we're requested. the room itself was quite small (not a lot of room for 2 people to walk around in it (or share a bathroom) and the tv was over on one side, making it difficult for both guests to watch it in bed. But it was very clean, nicely decorated, lovely and warm. there was a safe in the room and a fridge (with a couple of mini bar items we didn't try). The bathroom had a good thermostatic shower and looked nicely decorated. The towels felt fluffy and good quality. The beds were very comfortable, each with a duvet. The little bar/restaurant attached to the hotel was lovely - had a great ambience and reasonable prices considering its location and being a hotel bar. The staff were welcoming and friendly - it was prefect for a much needed beer or wine after walking around the city. We didn't eat there (having been given recommendations from friends of places to go) but the food looked very nice and was reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was very good (but if you turn up at the end of service there won't be as much and they clear it away quickly!). Different hot options every day (fried egg and bacon one day, scrambled egg and sausages another), excellent coffee machine and good selection of teas. cereals, fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries and bread. It was a lovely stay and I'd definitely return.

Huippu sijainti, hinta-laatusuhde kohdillaan, upea huone. Ainoa miinus siivoojasta, joka oli kerran unohtanut huoneemme oven auki, onneksi mitään ei oltu viety.

Mukavalla etäisyydellä keskustasta ja nähtävyyksistä. Ongelmana vanhojen rakenteiden "pöly", muuten erittäin siisti.

Frühstückspersonal war apatisch, nicht freundlich. Gerade am Morgen zählt es doppelt, anstelle einer sauren Miene ein Lächeln anzutreffen!
