Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. It smells amazing as you walk in. The instructions we received were clear and we even had a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse. So happy with our stay. Comfortable beds which we have not found in any other hotel we have stayed! Clean, complimentary coffee etc. We stay in preston several times a year as our daughter is at university, and normally stay in the travellodge which was rather grim. So pleased we have found this hotel. Literally in the centre of town, car park across the street. Staff were happy and so polite. Hopefully, it'll be available when we next go to preston.

You need to climb 3 flights of stairs to the top floor rooms, so this is not suitable if you have mobility issues. The property is very new, with a very nice bathroom and the bed is comfy. A lot of self-catering accommodations can have terrible beds, so this is a plus. However, I think it is misleading to call it a "one-bedroom apartment", as the kitchenette is right beside the bed. This is more a studio. The kitchenette is not well-equipped, there was one pot and some cutleries, so it is not suitable for cooking a full meal. The w Wick fragrance in the room was overpowering, and we had to wrap it in a plastic bag to stop the smell from escaping during our stay. No parking right outside the building, the nearest car parks are 10 minutes walk away.

Perfect Penthouse

We were upgraded to penthouse so it was fab. That said check in details weren’t sent and I had to call a few times to get them. When I got them over the phone they were incorrect. Ken saved the day when we arrived. He was a gent. Penthouse was lovely.

Room was too noisy

Positives - Really easy self check in/out. Lovely clean room with small kitchenette. Modern bathroom.. Walls a bit damaged but overall nicely decorated. Negative - pillows were hard and the room was extremely noisy. It was right next to the door to the building so we heard everyone that came in very clearly. It was also possible to hear music being played and conversation in other rooms all night. I had about 3 hours sleep. It may be better in a room upstairs, but there was no way of knowing where our room was located when we booked. Despite the location being excellent and the rooms being nice, we wouldn’t go back.

An amazing place to stay, just round from the train station & right in the heart of the city, we're blown away by how wonderful this place was, the little touches of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee etc available were great, a wonderful place in the best location, done to a great standard, can't wait to come back.

Perfect for railway station and central Preston

Excellent arrived late Friday night but was given clear instructions of how to enter. Easy to navigate keypad on both outer door and door to the room, lovely space with cooking facilities, excellent shower room and very comfy bed. Size not massive but as a sole traveller was perfect. Plenty of extra added, tea, coffee biscuits, shower gels etc. All in all for a short stay perfectly placed for train station and Preston central.

I always stay at No. 10 when I am in Preston. Fantastic central location for easy access to train station, shops, university, bus station etc. Rooms always exceptionally clean. I usually try to stay on a high floor because the only downside of No. 10 are the creeky floors so if someone in a room upstairs comes in late, you can hear them. Other than that, I’d say No. 10 is fantastic. Suits everything I need. Clean, comfy beds, bathroom and mini kitchen. Ideal for families if you book the larger rooms. Location itself is quiet and off the main street.
