Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and fresh coffee. Room was big and clean. Bed was comfy but too soft for me personally. Room was on the cooler side. A heater is provided. Has tv service. Pricing is reasonable. It is a nice house, would recommend staying here.

The breakfast experience was similar to having an angry hungover pissed off at the world person forced to be there even though she asked us if we wanted breakfast and the time we wanted. I’m not sure if asking people “what do you want” for breakfast with an attitude is something that you ask people that are staying at your B&B and also having said that, you should be providing breakfast options on the table for example, fruit, muffins, granola bars etc the kind of stuff you get when you stay at a hotel with continental breakfast included. I’m not a B&B owner but I do know that you should respect all your customers in every way to make their stay a wonderful experience. It’s unfortunate that this was my first time visiting Prince Rupert and I enjoyed the town but I will definitely not stay there again. Also just a side note, there was zero security or privacy as in no key to our room door which I found a bit strange knowing that all my personal stuff could haven be stolen by others staying there.

Photo displayed on website was nothing like the actual room. Everything was old - pillows, towels, entrance/staircase to room was not even safe. No key for the room, no coffee for the morning. Very disappointing all around. Host was not there; just a phone number to call her.

Not our cup of tea.

This B&B did not live up to its rating. We stayed in a suite with an outside entrance that needed a key pad to access. There was no light to see by and without a flashlight we would not have been able to get in. The ensuite bathroom is down a half flight of stairs and nothing seemed well cared for. In the morning one of the other guests had to let us in for breakfast as the host was still sleeping due to a "dog emergency" during the night. Overall not a great experience.

Host was unfriendly. She never went out of her way to make our stay positive. Spiral staircase up to our room was a real challenge with luggage. Kitchen area needs a deep cleaning. Would not stay there again.

My advice to all customers going to tall trees do not go for longer than one night, 2 at the maximum and dont expect much, especially in the breakfast department. This is for the owner. I have been in the catering industry for more years than i care to mention and I empathise with anyone in this industry. So i would like to make a few suggestions. We where probably a customer who stayed longer than normal 5 nights. You where so rude and unwelcoming the first few days that we where at tall trees that we considered leaving, but i was going to make sure that you where not going to spoil our holiday. We had a good look at your website and what you offered 90 percent of that was not anywhere to be noticed. Breakfast. Dont bother, if you cant do it properly then reduce your price and take it out, homemade bread definitely does not make a breakfast. Move your office out of the kitchen then you wont be bothered by your guests. Put tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, then you wont be bothered by guests who just want hot water. Lastly shut your doors for a few weeks take a deep breath and ask yourself if you really want to welcome guests into your home. These are positive points and obviously up to you wether you implement them, but i hope you do, I am sure that it will make for a better harmonious household.
