The room was not very sound proof. Our neighbors had domestics. The manager let them stay in their room with no regard to the fact we spent 3 of our 5 nights up until 4am. The front desk disregarded our concerns regarding the violent people next to us. The drink options are awful. We ended up purchasing our own drinks. Reservations for dinner are extremely limited. Most the staff was amazing, that was the only saving grace.

There was no beach, pools were not heated and there was no real night life. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet. The food was great and the staff were amazing.

The hotel was very clean and up to date. We really wanted to love it but there were many smaller things that started cropping up. Things like the snack store only offering soda and chips, it taking two days to get the hammock that was supposed to be on our patio delivered, concierge offices that were closed when they were supposed to be open, average food quality etc. For a Margaritaville there was only decor that hinted at it. Though the demographics were 40’s-50’s the music was dance club, loud and heavy all day at the pool, no relaxing at all and no Jimmy Buffet! Though it’s supposed to be an all-inclusive we were prevented from getting a snack at the Landshark Pub if we wanted to take it out. It goes on but the worst came on our anniversary night. We had dinner at Frank & Lola’s which was nice but by 3am we were both up with severe food poisoning! Spent all Thanksgiving day in our room vomiting and running to the toilet, running fevers and in pain. We were supposed to fly out Friday but there was no way we could be on a plane with our symptoms! My husband went to the front desk to tell them what happened and check to see if we could stay another night. He was told that no one else reported our symptoms (did anyone else order the meatball appetizer?) and they were sold out. Having been in the hotel business for years I would expect they would have called to find us a room somewhere else! Did they? NO. It cost over $500 to change our flights and get a hotel. Awful!

The resort is immaculate! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet wasn’t very good as far as selection and availability of food was intermittent. The Italian restaurant was amazing, but the steakhouse was a big disappointment in the food category.
