Pros: The location was very good, we were in the middle of downtown PVR, close and walkable to many restaurants, markets, clubs and bars, etc. The pool was nice and enjoyable. View was nice too. Also the lady at the front desk in the mornings was very kind and helpful. Cons: wifi was very poor and spotty, the shower water pressure was very weak. The man working the desk in the evenings was cold and rude (did not respond to greetings and was the least friendly person we met in our whole trip) but still asked for tip. The bathrooms did not get cleaned during the stay and towels only get changed once every three days. Minor inconveniences: thin blankets, limited outlets, no kettle in room.

We stayed in a twin room. For the price and location, it was good. A short walk to the Malecón and easy to get to. There’s a few indoor parking spots available. We didn’t use. Staff at the front desk were very nice The rooms itself were basic and had the necessities. The beds were in the softer side. Expect some road noise at night and also from the bar nearby. Overall happy with the stay. If you’re looking for a basic and affordable accommodation that’s convenient, I’d recommend this.

I thought the property was average at best but they did have excellent customer service - they were very friendly to my family. The facilities were average and the rooms were average at best. We were only at the hotel for a couple of hours and decided to leave for another hotel that had availability closer to the beach / malecon. The hotel didn’t meet the needs of my family but may fit the needs if yours. Either way, not a terrible experience but wouldn’t stay there in the future with a larger family like mine.

I enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for two people. The hotel is very close to Malecón boardwalk and lots of restaurants in Zona Romántica. Walking distance to the beach and staff was very friendly. This is a “no frills” hotel so just expect the basics, but it’s a great value and very safe.

The lighting was garish. No lamps for mood lighting. No outlets next to the bed to charge phones. Loud and echoing. Toilet needed fixing. Bathroom door didn’t latch. No privacy barriers between balconies. They offered coffee in the hallway in the morning, but it was instant, without cream or even artificial creamer.

The staff at the property were amazing! I asked for a mini-fridge and had it delivered to my room within minutes. The front desk staff are super friendly and the room cleaning crew will actually remember you from previous stays. Will absolutely go back!

Very calm at night. Close to the beach and good restaurants. Nice breeze. No need for air conditioning. The suite is large and very nice with a balcony, two complete bathrooms but the hide a bed is not confortable at all. The floors should be cleaned on a more regular basis.

Our stay at Blaze was perfection! Our suite was large, well appointed, and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was convenient and well enjoyed by our kids, albeit a bit cold - we didn’t mind. Just a couple of blocks from the malecon and perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday. I have no doubt we will be back! Thanks Blaze hotel and staff for a wonderful week!

Just okay

It was okay - the staff are very friendly and helpful plus the pool is super nice but the rooms were sub-par. Our AC was broken and didn't seem to do the temperature properly so we were freezing most nights, the cleanliness was questionable (towels had stains on them, floors didn't feel like they were swept properly) and our shower door was broken and didn't close properly so we had to use a 2L waterbottle to keep it closed while we showered. I would not stay here again unfortunately
