The Hotel is located in downtown centric and at only 5blocks from the pier or the walking strip of El Malecón , but the building is a traditional old town old brick and mortar structure where they add to the old hotel progressively more rooms up to a 5 stories high brick block ( I guess if you are looking for a place to be immerse in the PV night life or travel the Hemingway go for it ) time and we were dispatched to the last floor climbing over narrow stairs not for elderly tourists my sister had a hip surgery so we have to book another hotel after 2 days stay but if you are looking for something very affordable and in downtown this one option for me the last take in account when you are comparing the hotels and apartments for rent in downtown the

There was not much that I liked. It was extremely noisy. I had to climb four floors upstairs. My balcony was right over the main street where all the vehicles coming into that area go by including the trucks, unable to sleep at all the water in the room, kept on going from hot to cold nonstop. I couldn’t take a shower effectively very uncomfortable.

The property is old, very old. I got what I paid for, for a cheap vacation but the hotel is old. It’s in a great location, close to everything. However the shower was either scalding or freezing. Not enough electrical outlets. No deadbolt nor night latch on the inside of the room which is not safe. There’s no elevator so if you’re on the 5th floor, be ready to walk the stairs. There’s no smoke detector in the rooms. You have to give 100 pesos for the television remote for your hotel room. At the end of your stay they want you to bring all your dirty used towels down to the reception desk. The beds are twin sizes so they’re too small and uncomfortable. The door handles to the rooms were very loose, although there were cameras in the hallways - which is a plus. The swimming pool was not heated so it was cold. I don’t mind roughing it at times but this hotel was bare bones vacationing. No frills, just a bed and a pillow. There’s a microwave on the ground floor but does no good if my room is on the 5th floor. The employees were cleaning many times when I saw them - so great job to them. But I would rather spend extra money to have the comfort of a quality hotel.

I had a two week stay at this property and it surpassed my expectations. I had a very simple room at a very reasonable rate. Even though the room was basic, it was well maintained, clean and had a perfect little balcony with a distant view of the cathedral. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower, as good as home. This hotel was the perfect location for me...in town but a short walk to the most beautiful beach. The best part of my stay was the kind and friendly five-star staff. Claudia, Daniel and Damaris greeted me with a smile at the front desk every morning and evening. The ladies cleaning my room and the hotel also always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cute little no frills place right in the heart of zona romantica. Walkable to many great restaurants and bars. Staff were kind and accommodating. Very close to the beach as well. If you want to be right in the action, this place is for you.

Good hotel for price!

For the price we paid the hotel was exactly what you would expect. The rooms were cleaned daily. The room we had was a bit cramped with no real place to put out suitcases, so we had to constantly open our bags, take stuff out and close it back up/stand it up. Staff were friendly. Overall, the stay was fine based on what we paid.

None of this is bad but just an FYI: our room was pretty humid. Lots of air coming through the patio even when closed. It was pretty loud one night. Not the hotel’s fault. They don’t have an elevator. Staff was super nice and minded their own business. WiFi sucked when I tried to work from the hotel. Got better dependi where in the room I was. There is no deadbolt. Just a knob with a press in lock. The safe is also pretty small. Didn’t even fit my AirPods Pro max or my iPad. Location is amazing though!! Felt very safe. This property has some quirks so my review was more of an FYI than a “I had a terrible time here”. It was just average.

I booked with Expedia. The online photos were greatly exaggerated, not at all like the photos, the room that I was suppose to take was dirty, a tiny little window, the room was scary, it looked like a maids quarter. The staircase to that room was unsafe, limited lighting, uneven to walk, a tripping hazard. I did not stay in that hotel. It was terrible and false advertising There’s a sign in the window looking for a repair man… do not recommend this hotel.

It was really inconvenient to have to wait until after 4pm to checkin. The rooms was so loud and pretty much empty except for beds. I would expect at least a hair dryer and iron from a property that cost over $100 per night in Mexico.

This hotel was located in the middle of old town Puerto Vallarta. Every where is walkable, close to the beach, lots of dining experiences, and alot of shops close by the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful making my experience at the hotel awesome. Keep up the great work.

This has been my 6th stay here, and normally from 5 to 7 weeks each time. All the staff are very friendly and accomodating. The building is well maintained with new plantings. I would highly recommend this place
