Overall good place to stay. I would have liked to have had a wash cloth instead of 1 sponge for 2 adults the room smell wasn’t pleasant but I do realize it’s from the ac unit not running continuously and mildew builds up in those vents. Have them cleaned with bleach. Breakfast was good staff was very pleasant

Married couple getaway

The hotel is in a great location. Three minute walk to beach and Malecon, food and shops right outside the front door. We really got the feel of everyday life staying here. It can be a little noisy on the street with trucks and cars but it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast was sufficient and the staff were very friendly. We would stay here again without a doubt.

This is a great no frills place to stay in PV. Beds were nice, clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised at the free breakfasts which were delicious. There is also a great roof top patio to chill out on. Great location as it was central to everywhere. Our only issue was the AC was a bit loud and leaked water on the bed we didn't use. I would recommend this place if you've been to PV before and need a place to toss your bags and explore the town.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay here. For the price point, it is extremely accommodating and very comfortable. Clean rooms, amazingly kind service, and a great location. Victor at the front desk, Martha and Enrique in service, and Teresa and Karen in the kitchen were all amazing! The free breakfast is hand cooked to order, the bed is comfortable, and the location at a hole is very clean and nice. If you’re looking for a place close to the city that’s affordable and accommodating, this is it.

OLD TOWN HIDEAWAY

THIS IS A SMALL OBSURE 40-ISH ROOM HOTEL TUCKED INTO THE NORTH END OF THE OLD TOWN, A SHORT BLOCK NORTH OF THE CUALE RIVER, 3 BLOCKS SOUTH THE CHURCH AND 2 SHORT BLOCKS OFF THE MALICON. IT IS PERFECT FOR WALKING TO EVERYTHING IMPORTANT TO US. MANY GUESTS ARE REPEATS FOR THE SAME REASON. THE ROOFTOP BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD AND THE PLEASANT & ACCOMODATING STAFF IS THE SAME YEAR AFTER YEAR. PRICES ARE FAIR AND RATES A STRONG 8 OVERALL FOR US.

The hotel has basic amenities with excellent service and cleanliness!!! Victor at the front desk made me feel right at home. Enrique was attentive in helping with my bags and showing me how everything in the room works. The ladies making breakfast were wonderful!!! Location is central and walkable to everything. I was travelling alone and felt very safe.

Victor and all of the employees were very helpful with everything we needed. The kitchen and wait staff were great. We stayed a full month and it could not have been better stay. The rooftop sitting area is great to see the town at night. There is also some very good restaurants within walking distance. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Thanks

Very dated hotel, good location ,VG breakfast

Had to wait over an hour to check in , then after waiting we got the worst room in the hotel. Smells bad and faces the alley . Very disappointing even though we booked a superior room. Hotel is dated and in poor condition , the only thing is the location is good . Breakfast included is very good and home cooked by friendly ladies. Would not recommend this hotel.
