Sure, here’s a shorter version: --- The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff—from housekeeping to waiters—was great. However, the hotel felt boring with no real activities or entertainment. It’s more suited for families with young kids. The food was disappointing and the drinks were even worse.

Outdated. If traveling with preteens and teenagers skip hotel no activities for them. A lot of small children hotel. Pools are small rooms are small. Electricity out when we arrive no one called to let us know. It was running by the end of the night. Doesn’t have 4 restaurants only 2 they tell you when you get here they say 4 because the buffet will have different Asian and Italian choices in different days. “The grill” is ok but good luck getting reservations. They have vendor come in at night to sell you souvenirs if interested but pricey.

This was our first time staying at the Krystal. We are seniors. We usually stay at a 5 star resort and decided to try a different place this year. We knew this was a resort that served families and we had to adjust our expectations. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and gracious. We were impressed with how tasty the food was at the buffet. However, they seemed to run out of food often. The adult pool was nice, but it was kind of a long, treacherous walk to get there. The facility seemed older than it actually was and needed many repairs...the tile floor was chipped and broken in many areas. The tables in the buffet were wobbly and often had no settings in place, and were dirty. They didn't seem to have enough staff available to keep up with the number of people cycling through. We realized that the buffet was a place to eat and not dine. (We were accustomed to tablecloths being used, along with cloth napkins for at least the evening meal.) Our room had a great view of the ocean and overlooked the family pools. Each night, there was an entertainment stage set up in the courtyard right below our room. We were on the 6th floor and the music was loud. Our experience was not that favorable and we probably won't return.

Door hinges disgustingly rusty. Very outdated bathroom. View was beautiful. "VIP" check in takes you to a lower level creepy hallway. We got gold bracelets which means you're "VIP" very quickly learned there was little to no difference between the other wristband colors. At the time of our stay they were also doing construction with very loud power tools at peak hours. The good thing was there was plenty of loungers on the beach. Restaurants that you have to reserve all tasted the same. I would recommend sticking to the buffet.
