It was a difficult time with the cartel bombings right in front of the property. That being said, there wasn't a cohesive plan by management for anything. In fact management wasn't present during the whole incident. There was no one in charge that was skilled or versed on how to maintain the guests . Perhaps management should consider a "what if" plan in times of crisis

This place is amazing honestly I can’t say a single bad thing it was above and beyond expectations. Nicest pool ever! Yes it’s not a traditional hotel so there’s elevators like in a condo building and the reception is outside, but the hosts are there to greet you and show you around the place and they’re extremely nice. My 13yo and I stayed here for 4 days and it was paradise. Would definitely return.
