I asked for adjoining rooms and they got our reservation wrong after i checked in with them multiple times prior to arrival. They managed to get us all in the same villa, but it was a little inconvenient having to go down a flight of stairs, around to the other side of the building, then up 2 flights. Also no elevators was unexpected, but that may have been my inexperience with the area. The hotel and the grounds: Beautiful and clean although some of the fixtures were old in our room and there were VERY limited electrical outlets. The staff: Mostly welcoming, friendly and helpful however most of them had no idea about th free activities available to us at the beach. I asked 5 different staff members before a young woman at the front desk was finally able to tell us exactly where to go and what to do. Food: Overall, the food was great however some items were undercooked - both at the buffet and the 'snack restaurant'. We really enjoyed the buffet having different international offerings each night and one staff member, in particular named Grey was exceptional. The food and atmosphere at both of the fine dining restaurants we got reservations to ('Thali and 'The Greek) was pristine. Transportation: 'Trains' throughout the property made getting around (to the beach, the other hotels, restaurants, water park, etc.) very easy and convenient. Lastly, their show about the history of the DR in song and dance was mesmerizing and morw than worth the surprisingly small price.

Liked the food, pool and beach areas. Disliked service overall. Staff were generally not friendly with the odd person here and there offering a smile. They appeared to hate their jobs and tourists in general. The check in staff were the best but when we checked out the person didnt even ask if we has a pleasant stay etc The main issue was that this resort is NON English speaking , which I was not aware of, therefore ordering drinks and or asking doe anything was a challenge. In regards to drinks it was suprising that they has no diet sodas at all , only Sprite and Pepsi. My family would not return to this resort

llegamos muy temprano al hotel debido a q la aerolínea FRONTIER, nos adelantó la hora del viaje. Y no nos dieron la habitación hasta las 5pm aproximadamente. Llego al cuarto estaba sucio decido bañarme y resbalo en la bañera y me rompí 2 dedos del pie derecho. Le anuncié al personal y me dijo q tenía q llamar al seguro de viajes mío y yo pagar por todo. Cuando regreso del hospital le indiqué que el dr. me había indicado usara silla de ruedas y así me la dieron toda vieja y mohosa. A ese hotel no vuelvo jamás. También encontré gusanos en la ensalada y le informé al mozo y dijo gracias por avisar y nada más

Empezando que son propiedades de 3 pisos y no tienen elevador, tienen falla para las personas con discapacidades, en el buffet para tomar un poco de agua había que caerles detrás a los meseros, a veces terminábamos de comer y todavía no servían agua. Se les pedía algo y traían algo completamente diferente. Si no ven propinas no se mueven. Fatal el servicio en este hotel.

Grand Turquesa wasn't for me, I had issues since the 1st day with the air conditioner in my room not working, the balcony handle was broken, I asked them if they can put me in a lower floor like one or two due to my heart conditions and they couldn't accommodate me. I wasn't too please with Bahía Principle.
