This was our first visit to Excellence Punta Cana, and we booked the Excellence Master Suite. Our suite was conveniently located near the Excellence Club pool, spa, and restaurant. From the very first day, we met Reizon, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. On Saturday (first day) he even walked us all the way to Olas for lunch. From then on, he took care of us daily—securing beach chairs, arranging a cabana for a day (well worth the fee), and ensuring we felt truly valued. Thanks to him, we found the Excellence Club upgrade worth every penny.
The food overall was hit-or-miss, though we had two standout evenings. At Oregano, Yori made sure we received lobster even though it wasn’t on the menu—a thoughtful gesture that completely changed my husband’s impression of the dining experience. Another highlight was The Grill, where we recommend ordering three different steaks to find the one that truly shines.
Ingrid, the host at Olas, was incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel welcome every time. We ended up having lunch there regularly because of her warmth. Leidy also stood out—helping us late one night with pillows, and greeting us the next morning at the Excellence Club desk with a smile while assisting with a late checkout request.
Thank you to the staff who truly make this resort memorable. While the entertainment left much to be desired (with the Circus show being the only one worth attending), the service more than compensated.
