Workers at restaurants and at buffets are kind. Accommodations are very much lacking. Cleanliness of rooms is very inconsistent. Initial room was close to lobby but had to switch out because we came back to So Many cockroaches in the evening in our room that was extremely gross.

This was such a fun trip! The food was yummy, the staff were amazing (helpful, fun and overall pleasant), the facilities are great, the rooms are so cute. We did the extra cost for adults only and it was worth it.

My husband and I visited Lopesan, and while the resort itself is absolutely beautiful – immaculate grounds, stunning pools, and a clean, relaxing environment – we unfortunately cannot recommend it due to a serious food safety issue. We received raw chicken twice at the buffets during our stay (see photos attached). After eating here, my husband suffered food poisoning that required us to buy Imodium from the on-site pharmacy just to make it through the rest of our vacation. This was not only upsetting but completely unacceptable for a 5-star all-inclusive resort. When I reported the raw chicken to the front desk, the staff member simply said, “oh no” and nothing further was done — no follow-up, no apology, no attempt to correct the issue. While some staff members were friendly and truly made us feel welcome, overall, the service lacked the level of hospitality and concern we’ve experienced at other resorts. The resort grounds are breathtaking, and it is very well maintained, but food safety is a non-negotiable. Reading other reviews, we now see we are not the first guests to experience undercooked food and illness here, which makes this even more troubling. Lopesan really needs a thorough review by food and safety professionals to ensure guests are not put at risk. This was our first time ever getting food poisoning at an all-inclusive resort, and it was devastating to have it happen during a trip we were so excited about. We weren't sure what to expect on our first trip to the Dominican Republic, but everything was perfect from start to finish. Our experience there was not good beautiful place! Food was horrible did not speak English, if I wanted water they gave me coffee. Unfortunate that we could not go to beach with that horrible seaweed and smell. Way too much walking for us with back problems. U need some kind of shuttles around the property. I would not recommend lopesan to older people. It was our 50 anniversary and really did not enjoy our vacation at all. Way too many complaints but it doesn’t matter D.R. No more sorry👎

This was our second time at this resort and it did not disappoint!!! We came for a destination wedding/vacation both times. The resort is clean & very spacious. Even with a hundred people just for the wedding we were attending and so many other hotel guests you never felt on top of each other. With all of the restaurants, the buffet, the beautiful beach, many swimming pools in addition to the Lg main pool, the boulevard (which is a mini shopping center on site at the resort that has stores, restaurants, a pub, a nightclub, wine shop, ice cream shop, arcade with bowling,etc) , a water park kids, indoor & outdoor bars, juice station, and the just so many little quaint spots just to lounge quietly. There is a place for everyone no matter what you prefer to do for your stay. The resort is expanding and I can’t wait to return again! We were given the most professional, accommodating and nicest concierge/Butler. His name was Senel Delusmat|. He was a complete gentleman!! Well dressed & manicured! From the first day we arrived he greeted us with a bottle of wine and assured us that he was at our service for the duration of our stay. He helped me set up all of my dinner reservations for the entire week. Sometimes our dinner parties were groups up to 22 people. He made it happen!! He also helped arrange our Spa appointments (so worth it) Senels efforts and dedication to our satisfaction were exceptional! Our stay would not have been pleasant without all of his efforts. Truly Grateful!

This property was 10/10. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly only down fall is very little English (they don’t understand English at all I had to download a translator app) but other than that. Food was amazing a lot of different restaurants to visit, a lot of different bars, I love the ice cream place. A lot of shopping you don’t even have to leave the resort for nothing, everything is there. You can book your tour right at the resort. Everything!
