The resort itself is beautiful but the rooms need some love and care. In our room it just seemed like things were falling apart. On the door where can put the extra security so no one can come in was falling off the door frame. The shower head needed cleaning as some of the spouts were clogged. The drain needed cleaning and put back correctly. The night stands the drawers were difficult to open they looked like they could fall apart. Some of the furniture was peeling already. I will say the service was extremely lacking albiet for a couple of people that went out of their way. But the staff is not nice. I will shout out Juan Feliz and his staff from the wine cellar. He is the sommelier. Our experience was phenomenal. From the charcuterie board to the explanation of wines. It was great experience! The food was good. The restaurants we went to El Charro, Inari and Asador the food was good. Again the customer service left a bad taste in our mouth. Someone else that was amazing was Yessica Cedeño from the expedia check in desk. She was amazinf during check in and great customer service skills. But the rest of the staff from the bars, buffet, restaurants, housekeeping etc were not attentive and just lack the customer service skills for a resort.
It says "Asking a guest/client how we can compensate you is like showing your neck to Dracula and asking him to check your neck because you feel something is there" This was on an employee bulletin board at the resort. Not the culture they should be

The quality of the food was very high, fresh, I love that it had a 24 hours open restaurant. I have been to multiple hotel, and I have never seen a buffet that had all the variety of food like Lopesan. This hotel have been one of the best one.

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out staff was very rude they didnt even cut our wrist bands off at check out. The resort is beautiful but they have young kids working there that is rude and perverted I had to walk my friend to her room every night because she was alone and they kept harassing her. My daughter ended up getting sick the 3rd day there my friend also.they are not welcoming at all and every time we would tip them it always seem it was never enough mind you we were one of the few ppl tipping u would think we got better service. Bottom line do not go here

The hotel offers a good selection of dining. Breakfast and dinner had varied menus That being said, the service around the pool left much to be desired. Staff seemed inattentive and little to no responsiveness , whether it was for drink orders, or simple requests. At times it felt understaffed, unattended or just pure laziness which took away from what could have been a relaxing experience. Overall, the food makes the stay worthwhile, but the poolside service definitely needs improvement lots of improvements

I stayed in room 1403 one it’s very far from reception && everything I came for. The keypad on the room was broke there was suppose to be a black cover and it wasn’t (unsecure for me). The sink was broken, the shower gel and shampoo racks were broken. The sheets were dirty. The refrigerator was broken my whole stay not one thing was cold. The resort is excellent but when things are broken fix it ! Ppl are spending their hard owned money to come there.

I give this hotel a 3 star. We arrive Sunday. They dont have club openning until Thursday to Sunday. The hotel is big and no transportation. You have to walk all over. Direction is terrible. The drinks where not good. Couldnt get buzz. No food cart on beach to snack. Beautiful pool. Have to walk distances for towel. If wanted up grade wasnt worth the money.
